man I am excited but not- we have had a lot of camp / forest themed ones recently I would have loved something a bit more interesting! Like the egypt event or the nightmare vs dream

Same, I was hoping for something a bit more exciting. I’m excited, but at the same time, I’m disappointed

sigh. This happens every year-
The "get ready" announcement more often than not has nothing to do with the actual event.
I highly doubt it's a camping theme.

This year it does seem oddly specific though. Usually they're just random dress-ups of generic "summer vacation" vibes. This year it's just a camp sign with the text basically saying "we're going on adventures in the forest."
Would be super weird if it turned out to be something completely different. Might be the first time ever, that the teaser is actually giving us a hint.

I saw a lot of people suggesting a camping theme for years, I'm very excited for the people who have been waiting for this! I agree with minimanta that these teaser seems super specific, but also has room for more ideas. ( ex. the crypteds )

Also, I think the teasers aren't supposed to be exactly what the event is about! It's just giving a hint /lh

Agreed, personally I'm excited for the concept behind a possible camping theme.

I'm also wondering if because of the security issue our hint this year was less. The event is already running behind and so far no other announcements were made. Maybe they wanted to make up for it by giving us a more direct idea of the event?

Is the 'camp smoothie' sign a totally new item? I think in past years all the teaser dress ups have been done with items already avaliable to all users on the site. I've never seen the 'camp smoothie' sign before unless I just can't remember.

Camping is like a dream event I never even thought of! I hope it’s something camping or forrest themed, that would be so cool (Most of my dream ideas have already been done before I joined, so I wasn’t sure if I’d like the theme or not this year.)
