- This race will be similar to our Svessen, a 600km Long-distance Dog Sled race. This race will be lasting two days is held on the coast of the home of the spitz!.
Any team of 2 dogs, all deemed fit to race, may participate.
Prizes will be included for first and second place teams, the prizes being specified before the race begins after signups.
Specifications:- must have a team of 2 healthy dogs
- no female dogs may participate if on a breeding cooldown
- updates of each team’s placement will be given every day race
- all dogs participating must be adults
- teams may be formed with more than one musher’s dogs. Any dogs borrowed must be mutually consented, and proof of agreement must be provided during signups.
- races have a cap of 10 teams per race, this is first come first serve
- any dog completing 3 races in first, will be awarded a ribbon and the title of “Trail Champion”.
- Any kennel that completes 10 races with first place at any time will be awarded a banner of merit to be displayed on their kennel page. The kennel name will also be displayed on the Race’s Page
Using Foundation dogs:- anyone may use up to one foundation dogs in their team
- FD are first come first serve during signups, after each foundation dog is listed once in the applications only THEN may their participation be doubled by users in need of an extra.
- if foundation dogs are used during a first place win, that win will not count towards your Merit Banner
How winners are determined:- each team will have a rng dictating what events take place each day of the race.
- each event may either; have no effect, delay you by one space(15% chance), advance you by one space(15% chance), or advance or delay you by 5 spaces (5%) chance
- order of the teams placement will be determined by a spinner wheel, with event delays or advances being added afterwards
- the fifth day will be the final roll, and any order determined will be the finishing order
Ex. there are four teams, A, B, C and D
the first day, the wheel determines that the order is- C (First)
however, all teams except D roll a neutral event, while D rolls an advance. The new order would then be
