This is inspired by the new ocean day pets, but maybe you could do a Strap-toothed whale? Like a male and female? I just like- learned they existed but they’re so cool!

I have tried pixel art before and holy heck is it hard, especially to animate, so good on you for that, whenever I see people doing art like this it always inspires me enough to almost make me want to try pixel art again, so thankyou for that!
