About the new system for Shelter For Angels
Previously SFA was made as a no profit, no payment adoptable custom lined group meant to promote character development and learning genetics. However nowadays that is not quite as feasable for artists to do custom lined art for free frequently, especially with chickenpaint being harder to use and needing motivation to use.
Now that I've gotten slightly back into this I want to restart it. The following will be the primary features of the group itself.
- 1. Full Artists are able to choose if they sell designs for profit (CS Pets, C$, USD, or DA points), raffle the designs in some way, or make typical arpg style competitive adoptables.
2. All Artists will have their designs be under their Terms of Service or other requirements as soon as the design is created.
3. All designs made will be considered not under the group, and as such will be just a design you win or purchase with no group attached. You can use the design offsite or onsite, change the design/make alts for the design (under the artist's ToS), and use the designs in personal projects. If you decide you want to move the design to an actual ARPG, you will still need to get the previous artist's permission!
4. All designs made will be realistic, semirealistic, or stylized realism in correspondence with genetics. More stylized designs and shapes will need to be looked over by myself or a full artist that knows the limits, but is able to play with shapes and such to make a character design more fun while staying in the realistic range.
5. Optional challenges (and potentially events) will be available to possible win a free custom design ticket, however otherwise customs are purchased directly from the individual artist if they choose to accept it. The price will range from any of the acceptable prices for SFA or Art/Design trades (only if offered by the artist). Custom items will not be available to purchase from myself or a store. Said custom though, will have to stay within the limits of SFA if the artist is being commissioned to draw a group design.
6. It is uncertain if events will be hosted or not, however if interested please do let me know now or when the page is up again if you would be interested in events, challenges, or a discord and suggestions for such things!
The first things that will be posted for the Version 2 will be our lovely ambassadors (mascots) sporting the new setup, and the artist search. The artist search will only be posted once I've finished my Public Visual Genetic Guides, including their descriptions, and/or genetic google doc. SFA v2 will just be SFA still, however the genetic forum will instead be a genetic google doc so everyone can view it easier.
