Perrites, also known as Petite Cloven Fowl, are a diminutive and highly social bird-like equine native to the deep jungles of Southeast Asia. Standing around five to seven hands at the shoulder, they are just barely the size of an average domestic chicken. They are often kept in large flocks as guard animals to other livestock due to their protective nature and loud warning calls. Coming in a wide variety of colorful coat variations they are also kept as flashy indoor exotic pets by some, though they can be demanding by nature and difficult to train. However you aim to keep them, as long as they have a flock to socialize with and are given plenty of room to roam, perrites can be very loyal animals toward humans and quite fulfilling to care for.

To celebrate with our lovely little perrites, we're holding a color in event. The rules are simple; color a feather, fill out the short form below to post in the description of your color-in, and you'll get your very own perrite! Please bare in mind that I am not yet sure just how many of these I will be able to do, but I will do my very best to get as many perrites out as possible throughout the month of June <3 So be patient, be kind, and of course have fun!

Rules
- Be sure to add me to your drawing! You are more likely to be skipped if you don't.
- I will not be going in order, but rather picking feathers that inspire me most first. So be sure to put some love into your color-in!
- If you do not receive a perrite by the end of the event (July 1st) due to number of entries ect, please send me a PM to receive a free breeding item package as a consolation prize.
- Line edits to your feather are technically allowed, but please note that I will not be doing any line edits to the actual perrite, so it wont affect the outcome.
- Do not, under any circumstances, fuss with the perrite lines in the DO NOT TOUCH folder. You will be skipped if you do.
- If you choose the buck option the horn type will be completely randomized, you cannot make requests on which horn set you want.
- Remember when coloring in that perrites follow semi-realistic horse and bird patterning for their base coats. If nothing like that is present on your feather, the body patterning will be randomized and the feather design will be used only for their mane/tail. Which is absolutely allowed! Just make note of it if you have other ideas <3
- To view the the unique trait list, go HERE. There are no rules on rarity, but keep in mind that some traits are gendered.
- If you choose TBD for name/gender you will be required to post those by the end of the event (July 1st at CS rollover) or your perrite will be considered unclaimed and rehomed to someone else.
- If you do not like your perrite, you cannot receive another. One feather per person. You may however opt to rehome them, either by gifting them to another user or asking me to hold a raffle competition. Please PM me if you decide on this option.
