Why do you want it?: He's a beautiful young pup and I was just... inspired when I saw him.
History/background/other: A young pup stumbled into a clearing, exhausted. The moon broke through the branches above and illuminated his slight frame, bathing him in silver light. He had been lost for days and was giving up hope of ever finding his family again.
He pricked up his ears as his hackles raised. His tiny paws tingled as some animal instinct came unbidden, telling him to hide. He backed up slightly, but was too late. Three pure white, elegantly graceful wolfesses leapt into the clearing, circling him. An immense calm swept over him as he realised he was in fact safe. The beautiful wolves walked slowly around him, their silver eyes and white pelts seeming to glow with the light of the moon.
A long, soft whistle reached the pup's ears and the wolves sat, still facing him. They seemed immensely huge in comparison to himself. He watched them warily until his attention was diverted by a young girl, maybe thirteen, stepping into the clearing. She wore a pure white Greek dress with silver lining and a long silver hooded cloak with sparkling white lining. In her hand, a silver bow was clutched loosely with seemingly silver-dusted hands, and on her back was a silver quiver filled with white-fletched silver arrows. The only splashes of colour were her hair and eyes; her emerald-green eyes shone in the moonlight and her auburn hair fell in Greek-style ringlets to her shoulders, part of it held up with a bone comb. The young pup felt relaxed and safe as she advanced on him, picking him up. Little did the pup know that this was Artemis, the Greek goddess of hunting and the moon, and protector of pregnant women and young animals.
The girl fingered his tiny paws, laughing lightly as she found the one small wing on each paw. At her touch, they glowed gold, and the pup yelped in surprise as he was lifted from her arms. The girl smiled as he drifted off into the sky, leaving a trail of golden sparks. "Good luck, Hermes," she called softly, and somehow the name struck a chord with the young pup. Her voice was gentle and melodious. The last the pup saw of her was as she vanished into the woods, the three white wolves surrounding her.
The pup drifted off in the sky, scared stiff. He seemed to follow the moon, and was grateful when the forest ended and the sun began to come up. He landed gently on the soft grass, laying quietly for a few moments while he soaked up the sun. Two white-and-purple puppies raced just past him, and one skidded to a halt. The other raced back, confused as to why her sister had stopped. And then she saw him.
In the light of day, the glitter had gone from the pup's paws. His tiny wings lay limp and his ears hung low. One leapt over to him and sat by him while the other raced off to some unknown place.
She soon returned, a human female tagging along and laughing gently. She gasped as she saw the pup on the ground, then gently picked him up and cradled him close to her. The pup opened a sleepy eye. Was it the girl from the forest? She was the right age... But no, this girl's eyes were a green-blue and her coppery hair was straight and reached just past her shoulders. She smiled. "What shall I call you then? Opinions, Mystic? Sky?" The two puppies wagged their tails vigorously as she said their names. "No? What about..." Her brow creased for a moment, and she seemed about to say Goldie. But then a slightly glazed look came into her eyes and she closed her mouth again. "Hermes." She blinked and shook her head in surprise. "Yes, Hermes. You like that, don't you?" she crooned to the pup as his tail thumped on her arm.
He had a home.
Design changes/accessories: I like his design, so that will stay the same, but I may add a white chibi wing edged with gold on a cord around his neck.
What do you plan on doing with it?: Putting him in my signature; if he doesn't fit there then in my character thread, under "Adopted Characters"I will also do art of him and try to find an RP that would accept him and his two adopted sisters (given their unnatural-ness, if that's a word
)
Have you adopted from us before?: Yes, I adopted Mystic Star and Starry Sky (see signature)

Why do you want it?:
Becuase she is SO cute and I absosutly love her design! I also think I could write an AMAZING story for her!
History/background/other:
The wind soared over her fur, forcing it flat as she ran through the trees. The scent of elk kept her paws in motion, and her anger only fueled her more. Her quick breaths made clouds of grey in the freezing night air, and her hot pink eyes squinted as bits of snow stung them from the denim blue sky. When she blinked the frost away, the fuzzy brown rump of an elk was visible just a few feet in front of her. Bunching her muscles, she leapt forward, but only to land just short of the deer into the snow. She snarled with frustration and sprang up, sending mounds of snow flying in the air. This shouldn’t be happening. I shouldn’t be here. She gnashed her glistening white fangs and kept pursuit of the elk. As she drew closer to the elk, yet again did her muscles bunch. Keeping her top speed, she jumped for a second time, and this time landed right on the elk’s back. The deer bleated with terror and bucked furiously, but only making the wolf’s claws dig deeper into its back. She closed her eyes and a big cloud of grey exhaled from her mouth. A sudden howl, filled with sorrow and anger, ripped through the air. Look what you’ve made me… The pleading sound of the elk strangely comforted her, and with all her fury, sank her fangs into the deer’s neck. Warm blood flooded her mouth, staining her white muzzle as she reached the neck bone. The bone crackled, and suddenly, she was being thrown into the snow. The deer’s limp body crashed beside her, staining the pure white snow crimson red. Blinking away the shocks of pain, the wolf staggered up and shook the snow from her wet pelt. She gazed over to the limp body. Its eyes were glazed, staring into nothing. Blood flowed from its mouth, making a small river towards the wolf and circling around her white paws. The gold quiver slung across her back was shaken as she reached for it and slid out an arrow. The wolf took it in her jaws and hovered over the dead elk. With the arrow clenched in her teeth, she dug it into the deer’s chest. Almost gracefully, she cut around the elk’s heart. Its chest bones shattered after a few moments of the arrow’s first puncture, and the deer’s heart tumbled out into the cold, unforgiving snow. She dropped the red coated arrow, and looked up to the sky. Tears flooded her eyes. I’m sorry Zeus! I’m sorry Leto! Please, let me come home! I don’t want to keep doing this! She backed away from the elk, trembling. Please… Stop this… But no one replied. Only the sound of swirling cold night air could be heard. She gnashed her crimson stained teeth. Fine! I don’t need you! I can take it! Olympus should be sorry they ever made their choice! She took off running though the snow, hot angry tears flying back in the wind. You will regret it!
The image of the running wolf faded into a cloud as Zeus shook his head. Pawsteps sounded from behind him, and a stunning grey wolf came to his side. I know. The wolf sighed, blowing the cloud away. It’s hard. Believe me, its unbearable to see our daughter like that. But it’s her punishment to do that for eternity, and we can’t interfere. Olympus voted, and it was decided that this would be the penalty for her fault. Zeus’ gold eyes looked to the wolf in sorrow. I know, Leto. It’s what must be done. But seeing Artemis like that… He shook his furry gold head. She’s become a monster- But that’s her own fault! Leto snarled, interrupting Zeus. She was the one who committed adultery! She is supposed to be Artemis, the virgin Wolf-Goddess of the hunt, the forests and hills! Leto exhaled a long sigh. You must remember Zeus, you have Apollo too. You can’t drop everything just for Artemis. Her fault is unforgivable. She will never be welcomed back to Olympus. We must deal with it. She turned around, looking back to Zeus with sympathetic blue eyes. Accept it Zeus. Let her go. With that the wolf disappeared through the golden drapes. A tear fell from Zeus’ big wolf eyes. He looked down. I’m sorry Artemis. I’m sorry… A bolt of lightning burst from his tears, turning the clouds dark and sending lightning across the earth’s sky.
Artemis looked up, hot pink eyes filled with hope. Dad… Her face darkened as the lightning grew stronger, lighting up the sky and sending a tree into flames. Because she understood, tears continued to flow from her eyes, wetting her furry cheeks. Goodbye dad…
What do you plan on doing with it?:
Adding her to my family of Characters of course! She will have her own artwork, story, and personalized Character sheet. Also, her story may even turn into something so much bigger! Perhaps a CS book or something!
