Tell me a bit about this specimen!: While the specimen seems like a plant in how it reacts to stimuli (ie, pretty much not at all), it has been noted to turn and face things with the color purple, as sunflowers face the sun.

Tell me a bit about this specimen!:

this specimen absolutely seems... sinister, to say the least. its ambiently generated lava lamp type muck floats around and eventually evaporates in its container, much to researchers annoyance at trying to get a sample. there is always an eerie glow accompanied by an ominous chorus of whispers beckoning anyone nearby closer. though its behavior is alarming at first, anyone listening closely will hear that its simply asking cryptically for a cup of tea with one cube of suger. upon having said tea dumped into their container upon request it will wriggle vigorously and make an indescribable, but definitely positive, screeching noise. it seems almost octopus-like in nature, always watching and mimicking researchers, sometimes to a comic degree. no one has been brave enough to touch it, but allowing it to grip onto tools placed in its vicinity has proved benign to date. it has been nicknamed "tippy" for reasons yet to be disclosed to us, though broken glass found in the laboratory trash implies it has a habit of "tipping"
