uncommon trait: forked tongue
An excellent scout and spy, this Tracker Dog lives up to its variant name and stays out of sight no matter what. They're focused, driven, and fast. Their split-second decision making skills are top notch, resulting in a perfect record of completed missions. During their initial tests they garnered the nickname 'devil dog' due to their forked tongue and uncanny ability to appear out of nowhere when someone mentions their name.

This huge canine is certainly no pushover. As a military dog they stand by their squad of soldiers to protect them from all harm. They're deeply loyal, always alert, and not afraid of showing force. Their personality often matches their squad perfectly. Eager to go and deadly to encounter, this Tracker Dog is a master at sniffing out armories, and always excited when weapon caches get destroyed.

This Tracker Dog is trained to be a human remains detection dog (or cadaver dog.) Them and their handler work closely with law enforcement and even anthropologists, travelling far and wide to detect unmarked graves. Because of the nature of the job this Tracker is rather reserved and quiet, barking only when they find something. At home this canine loves to snuggle up to their handler and use their handler as a pillow.

A master diver. This aquatic canine can withstand the immense pressure of deep dives and helps keep divers safe. While their markings are already stunning to look at, the true brilliance of this Tracker Dog can only be beheld deep below. Once a certain depth is reached their circular markings will start to light up, providing their diver with light and guidance. Their physiology helps combat decompression, allowing them to return to the surface faster than normal.

Tracker Dog #095 » Lath

A search and rescue operative that is most suited to underground environments. This Tracker Dog can easily squeeze through narrow spaces and has an innate sense of how deep they are as they navigate tunnels or even ventilation systems. Originally designed as a seeker of lost spelunkers, they've received additional training in all sorts of rescue missions to make them truly versatile. They feel most at home underground so don't be surprised to find them sleeping in the basement.

A search and rescue canine to the bone. This Tracker Dog cannot sit still and eagerly awaits any mission that comes their way. They do well in forest environments as well as the urban jungle, making them the perfect tracker. Their boundless energy is hard to match and they will not rest until the missing person has been found. Their handler needs to be pretty good at cardio to keep up with them.

A Tracker Dog whom aids in forest restoration after fires. They are an expert in tracking down wildlife that survived the fire, wildlife that is then captured to be treated, and released once again afterwards (in a safe zone.) They also track down and identify post-wildfire threats so they can alert their team. They are nimble and quick, not to mention thorough, as they leave no stone unturned in their work. Their bright coat helps them stand out so their team can spot them easily.

A hunter of poachers. This dog patrols wildlife reserves to keep them free from anyone with ill intentions. While they often work with a variety of rangers and other such folk, it's not uncommon for this canine to do solo patrols with similar efficiency. Their natural coat often blends well with the environment. This Tracker Dog does not mess around when it comes to poachers, and can be absolutely vicious. So far they've made it out alive after every encounter but their recklessness may catch up to them.

uncommon trait: droopy ears
A gentle giant. This therapy dog is a friend and companion to children that are unfortunately hospitalised. With their gentle demeanor they help soothe kids and make them feel safe in an unfamiliar place. Their fur has been treated to prevent allergic reactions, and their saliva has been rendered harmless. They rarely ever leave the hospital and are often well acquainted with doctors and nurses. Technically this dog has no true owner as they belong to their stationed hospital, but may bond deeply with a particular caretaker.

A highly specialised Tracker Dog. This canine is built to withstand harmful chemicals that would endanger humans, thus making them excellent search and rescue dogs when it comes to disasters involving chemical plants. They can easily detect danger zones and uses their flexible tail to warn rescue workers of further issues. Despite their intimidating appearance they are actually quite relaxed, and enjoy being offered a toy for their hard work.
