Doodle with it a bit.
The best designs are the ones that are like nothing you've ever seen before, with cool
markings and colours as well as accessories.

I've always tried to make character like the ones you were talking about with puppy94, but the problem is i can never come up with cool colors and designs...it stink.

For inspiration look at nature, like flowers or even bugs
They have lots of awesome colours.
