𝐈. What are Wolfkins?

Wolfkins, or Munchkin Werewolves, are a subspecies of werewolves that have no human form or ability to shift... and are pretty smol.

Despite their size, they can be quite fierce. They take bonds they form very seriously and will risk their lives to protect those important to them.

They also love to chew shoes.

Their origins are a mystery. First written accounts mentioning similar creatures date back to the Middle Ages. An unknown author mentions a pack of animals similar to wolves that are far cleverer than an average animal.

The legend says they were first encountered by an unknown ruler somewhere in eastern europe on a hunt.

The hunting party met two animals. They seemed more curious than aggressive, but still wary. Without thinking, one of the hunters shot one of them, killing it. The other instantly attacked and was shot as well, but not killed. As the hunter was about to deliver the killing blow, the ruler stopped him. He recognized grief and sorrow in the animal's eyes after the loss of its companion. He deeply regretted what happened and had the wolf nursed back to health, after which they formed an unbreakable bond.

For mamy years Wolfkins were thought of nothing but a myth... this is no longer the case.

𝐈𝐈. Rules

I. Do not claim the base or any Wolfkins you don't own as your own.
II. Do not edit the base without permission and do not edit any existing Wolfkins. Do not create your own Wolfkins.
III. Do not ask to be staff unless applications are open.
IV. You are free to use Wolfkins anywhere as long as proper credit is given.
V. To participate in Wolfkins, your account must be at least two months old.
VI. Be respectful to others, do not guilt trip, do not ask for free items or Wolfkins unless offered first.
VII. All trades must be agreed upon by both parties and posted in the appropriate thread, then confirmed by the other party in said thread.
VIII. Wolfkins can be traded for C$, CS pets, art, characters, UMA currencies or items, other Wolfkins and other UMAs that allow inter-UMA trading. Only Wolfkins that were paid for with real currency can be sold for real currency.
IX. Do not try to ask for a custom if the artist's customs are closed.
X. Staff have the right to ban if deemed necessary. What happens to a banned user's Wolfkins is dependent on the severity of the case.
XI. If you believe that disciplinary action has been taken unfairly, you have the right to ask staff to review the case.
XII. You may adopt one Wolfkin from free litters a day. There is no limit on obtaining paid Wolfkins.
XIII. All CS rules apply.
XIV. All Wolfkins have a trading cooldown of three days.
XV. You may only adopt Wolfkins on your own account. Using accounts of your family and friends is counted as multi-accounting.
XVI. Do not mini-mod. If you see any inappropriate behavior, please contact staff as soon as possible.
XVII. Rules can be changed at any time.
XVIII. Behavior not mentioned in rules can still warrant a ban. Users acting inappropriately outside of the species can still be banned.
XIX. Anything involving NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) if forbidden.
XX. An artist can cancel or refuse customs if they wish.
XXI. Do not try to trick others into thinking you're staff.

𝐕. Bans

Being banned means you cannot participate in Wolfkins. You would not be able to obtain any new Wolfkins or trade the ones you already own, only gift them away or transfer them out if you wish.

There is no strike system. If you are caught breaking rules or behaving inappropriately, you will be warned, or if the case is severe enough, banned. The amount of warnings received beforehand will account into staff's decision whether or not you should be banned.

Instant bans and rehoming is dependent on the violation. For example:

A user is a multi-accounter. If enough evidence is found, they will be automatically banned from the species and their Wolfkins will be rehomed.

A user is excessively guilt-tripping and manipulating other users into giving them free Wolfkins. They will be banned and any Wolfkins obtained this way will be rehomed, but they will be free to keep any other Wolfkins they own.

A user keeps attacking staff members. They will eventually be banned, and while they usually would be able to keep their Wolfkins, the artists are not comfortable with the user owning their work and that would be enough to warrant rehoming.
