Summoner Magic
Hybrid of Arcane/Faunal Magic

Well well well, a friend to my domain huh? Well come in then. This place is open to anyone and everyone who aspires a magical connection with the critters of the world.

Summoner Magic does not have an extremely rich history as it came as a subset of the Arcanes, but it still just as useful. Calling upon the assistance of animals to assist you throughout your days or summoning the essence of an animal to attach to yourself as an extension of yourself. It's all pretty amazing stuff. And the best part? No living creature was harmed in the process!

As a student or being born of Summons magic, you'll find your magical attunement to the animal kingdom to be quite strong. Use that connection to shape your magic to be as perfect a match to those who are kind to use without seeking return. You'll find your world to be more enjoyable that way.

Leveling Guide

Novice: Default Level
It's only the beginning, of your journey through Summoner Magic, and its a long road ahead. You're able to summoner small animals that are no bigger than your paws, however, there may be only one at at a single time, as it requires a lot of concentration. The summoned animal may only last for a few minutes with laxed concentration, but if fully focused, they may last up to ten minutes! Though make sure you keep that summoned friend close or else it may become difficult.

Advanced: Unlocked at 100 MP
You've gotten the hang of it, from the looks of things! But don't get complacent. At this point, you're able to summon your animal friends for a much longer, about 2 times more than before. You're also able to summon more at once. Just be careful not to over exert yourself! You're also able to now summon flying creatures, though this is a new level and may take some time to get used to. You can also summon animals as big as your head!

It is also at this point where you may also begin summoning the essence of animals to use as an extension of yourself. Be it the large claws of a mole to help with digging or the sharp beak of a bird, summoning small things like this is now possible! This is a new part of your magic however, so take it slowly.

Adept: Unlocked at 200 MP
You've come so far! Amazing work! But there's still a ways to go. By this point, you can summon animals as easily as you breathe, barely any concentration required! And they can even be up to the same size as you. Amazing right? And these summoned creatures can last with you for much longer. You can summon much more as well! Maybe at this point you've found an animal that is most easy for you to summon- Your Spirit Animal, you could say. Whatever you choose to summon, it's not at all hard for you. Animals you summon are more independent, able to roam farther away from you, though it's still best to keep an eye on them. Go too far and your magic may fade after some time.

Master: Unlocked at 300 MP
Your abilities have reached their peak, that's amazing! There's nothing out of your range of summons, even animals practically three times your size! Summoning large amounts of animals at once also has become no problem for you at all! Even better, you can send these animals off for long distances!

It is at this point that you can summon parts of animals to enhance parts of your body more efficiently. Summon the large paws of a bear to swipe at opponents who threaten you. Or gain the long trunk of an elephant to help you move heavy objects. Give yourself the large ears of a bat to enhance your hearing. The possibilities are vast!

Psst- Wanna see what I can do?
Yea- I'm a Paragon. It's a bit of huge deal. And thanks to that, my abilities are a little top notch. Ever heard of Dragons? Yea- I can summon those. Want a unicorn? No sweat~! Whale? I can summon those with my eyes closed. Paragonhood allows you to summon mythical beings as well as animals who are so large, they'd crush a continent! Maybe- Unsure. I haven't tried.. But it's pretty darn cool. Oop- Sorry. Kinda like to brag.

Magic Expression


Summoner Magicians are pretty cool. Their eyes take on a silvery pinkish shade, a middle ground between the two magics that made it possible. What's unique is our pupils. Typically, we have white pupils! However, each summoner has their own 'Summons Circle'. Summons circles are unique both un for each storkies- though that doesn't mean you won't meet a Summoner magician with similar circles. It's actually common for parents to pass on their circles to their children.

Summoner Circles can also appear on paw pads if the flesh is magic colored.

Minor Magic Expression
Unlocked at Advanced. They can have a summoned animal near them or on their person. They may summon small enhancements such as claws of fangs. Your Storkatten may have glowing eyes.

Master
Unlocked at Master. They may summon large animals at larger numbers at once. They may also summon enhancements that can cover up to 50% of their design.

Paragon
Unlocked at Paragon. Magic expression is unlimited. Summoning animals is unlimited in size and amount. Summoned enhancements can cover the entire design if preferred.

Summoning wings to fly or summon gills to breathe underwater are all possible.

My Story

Summoners Magic wasn't always a thing. I started off as no more than a young scholar in the halls of the Arcane domain. I was good at my magic. Or, good enough I suppose. I was not an astute student, that's for sure. No no- classes were dull, my classmates were even duller, and I just could not focus. Instead, I found my gaze always wandering. The sky was always so much more beautiful when I was stuck inside. Inviting and daring. As a young Storkitten who had just started getting my grown up feathers, I was aching to take to the skies.

Skipping classes became a norm for me. Not attending or sneaking off whenever we moved classrooms. I'd find myself outside and attempting to put these wings of mine to use. I was making progress.. Sort of. It wasn't graceful, that's for sure. But it was the first time I had been so determined and focused on something so I was fueled by the excitement of it all.

It was during one of these escapades that I encountered a small bird. It looked quite young, like me, and from the view above, it had fallen a long way from it's nest. Unfortunately there was no mother in sight, or anything else besides the nest. I was unsure how long it had been there, but it did not look ok. It was only a matter of time before constant care and attention gave me my best friend. Tandem 2. There had never been a Tandem 1, the 2 just sounded cool, don't you agree? Regardless, I found myself a partner for life. We learned to fly together, he kept me motivated in classes, silly guy even forced me to study! He was annoying awesome and great.

It was times with him that I was seriously jealous of Faunal Magicians. Me and Tandem 2 were as thick as thieves, but I always felt lacking. He was my companion, but I wished to be closer to my best friend. I wondered if he could speak, what would he say? Does he even have a voice? Is he hurting somewhere he can't tell me with gestures alone? So many worries and thoughts led me down the path of learning Faunal magic. Man- if you think learning a second magic is easy, you're crazy! Regardless, I think I was doing well- not to brag~ Ok- I am bragging but whatever!

No story is complete sunshine and rainbows, however, and I am no exception. My best friend passed on in a tough battle. I don't know how he even arrived to the battle field, or heck, how he knew I ended up in such a dire situation, but he was there for me. He tried to protect me and did some damage of his own, but he was no match. Thanks to him however, I managed to escape while my enemy was distracted. I scooped him up in my dash and mourned for the longest times.

Drowning myself in classes and studies only made the days drag. I couldn't bring myself to bond with any other animal in fear that our connection would amount to their demise. I don't know when it occurred to me. Maybe it was loneliness, or maybe I read something in a textbook, but I took the knowledge of the two magics and combined them. You would think any Arcane scholar could manage this feat, but it takes a surprising amount of knowledge about the animal kingdom to actually formulate a passable replica and maintain it.

A passion reignited.

I honed this new skill of mine to a perfect form and created a magic all my own. I made many little Tandems to assist in my day to day. Many friends were made, and never once did I have to worry about them getting hurt. They were aspirations after all. And over time, I was able to create animal features to replicate on my own person. I could sprout extra wings or give myself larger claws. The possibilities were endless. And I enjoy chasing the possible limits to this very day.

Oh yea. I'm a pretty big deal~
