Hi there! Are you interested in Saluki & Samusky Adopts? Well before you apply for a dog take a look at a few public works fundraising for the betterment of our community! You see, when you have a Handler and adopt either a Saluki or Samusky you get to designate a $500 donation to one of the facilities below. You can read about their current projects and see how much funding they have received towards their goal. We appreciate your interest in our dogs, but also making Aurora Village a better town!

Aurora Village Fundraising Facilities

Town Hall
Welcome to the largest building in Aurora Village. At the town hall we wish to be a place that fuels community culture. That's why we are fundraising for a unique exhibit! Since the mines are permanently closed we would like to display some of the retired equipment, educational photos, and provide booths townsfolk can listen to an audio tour of the mines. Future generations will never forget our roots with such an exhibit! Won't you donate today?

Goal is $1500

Current Funding: $0

Library
How do you do? You've stumbled upon the great Aurora Village Library. We offer just about every genre that could tickle your fancy. What we don't have is a computer lab. If we could just acquire the funding we have a supplier waiting on the wing to provide a fleet of computers. Just think of all the web searches, research papers written, or video games played in a state of the art computer lab. Consider donating to our cause!

Goal is $1500

Current Funding: $500
Donation from: Evan Sykes $500

Park
Come to relax and unwind at the Aurora Village Park? Well don't let us stop you from enjoying the pristine walking trails or taking your kiddos to the castle themed playground. Now if you've brought your furry friend I'm afraid there isn't much to offer. Never fear, we are raising funds to install the grandest dog park to spoil your pooch! There will be a section for large dogs and one for our tiny but mighty pups. It'll have all the bells and whistles like a community toy box and agility equipment. If you're a dog lover bring your donations here!

Goal is $1500

Current Funding: $0

Show Ring
The saluki dogs have been taking the town by storm and their Handlers have voiced loud and clear that they need a facility to hone their show dog's skills. We humbly ask for your donations so we can build a proper ring as well as seating for the glamorous dogs' fans. If we establish a show ring, competitions could be on the horizon for Handlers and their saluki dogs.

Goal is $1500

Current Funding: $1,000
Donation from: Croc Elix $500
Donation from: Croc Elix $500

Please note, once a project reaches their fundraising goal the town committee will open up a new public works to invest in.

Next on the docket is: a sled track! This several acre track will allow samusky teams to practice sledding in the winter snow and in the warmer months thanks to modified sleds. With the sled track in town you can bet on seeing more of those hardworking dogs up for adoption. When both the show ring and sled track are funded, Handlers can participate in competitions! Hopefully a $1500 goal is met soon c;

xx

Museum
Welcome welcome to the Aurora Village Museum. At this time we have a local art gallery, sculpture garden, and an area for historical pretend play for the kids and kids at heart. What we're lacking is a dinosaur exhibit. Can you imagine walking among raptors, towering apatosaurus, and yes even the legendary carnivores! All we need is a bit of funding and a generous benefactor has a collection on standby. You won't regret donating for the dinos!

Goal is $1500

Current Funding: $1500 GOAL MET!
Donation from: Nalus $500

Donation from: Julie $500

Museum Update! Thanks to two locals the Dinosaur Exhibit has been fully funded! It's a New Years Miracle! The red ribbon was cut today and a crowd enjoyed the view of preserved skeletons, lifelife replicas, and even a bonus mummified wooly mammoth calf named Elsa (a fan favorite).
