I think you're onto something! This is what I could figure out for the possible inspiration for each scarf:
































So, more specifically, the scarves appear to be based off of the blankets for dog litters of the past year. ^^ Neat!

It released with the other dragons eggs for christmas, it just grew today

Where in the world did the unicorn horses come from? I swear I have logged in every single day and somehow missed these.... Such a disappointment considering I usually don't like the horses but these had me a bit intrigued....

omg can't believe I didn't notice until now that the otters aren't fully grown yet. I was a tiny bit let down with the lineart because I thought they'd be hard to dress up underwater (though I know otters don't live underwater), but now I'm excited to see them grow again! Even if they still end up sitting, they're pretty cute
