Galactipups are large, omnivorous mammals that reside mainly in space. They create and spread stars and planets all across the galaxy, but this power is very taxing and requires them to rest on the nearest planet every once in a while. To do so, they'll change their size and hide their otherworldly traits to blend in with surrounding wildlife. Their true forms are large, about the size of a large wolf, and they hardly need to eat due to their bodies being able to sustain energy for long periods of time. When they do eat, they mostly snack on various plants and small bugs.

Rules

Galactipups are a closed species, meaning you cannot make your own without a MYO ticket!

-Galactipups can be traded for other pups, pets, c$, and USD, but no more than what you paid for it.
Art of your galactipup increases the value of them.

-All CS rules apply for Galactipups.

-Hate speech/Bullying/Harassment will especially not be tolerated here and you will be banned from the species.

-No mini-modding, please report to a staff member if something is wrong.

-Designs can be transferred in and out but please make us aware of this first.

-All designs require approval before being added to the Masterlist and being official.

-They must have either an Oekaki post or a post on the Off-Oekaki thread to be approved.

-You can own an unlimited amount of Galactipups.

-You must own your Galactipup for 2 weeks/14 days before you can trade/sell it.

Strike System:
-Galactipups work on a 5 strike system, meaning you have 5 chances.

-1st Strike: Warning
-2nd Strike: Falls off after 3 weeks.
-3rd Strike: Falls off after 3 months.
-4th Strike: Is a temporary ban. Falls off after 6 months.
-5th strike: Is a permanent ban.

-Galactipups staff reserve the right to skip strike steps as we see fit, especially if someone is doing something particularly horrendous like harassing staff members or community members, stealing artwork, etc.

-If you are given a strike, you will be properly notified with what kind of strike and what exactly caused the strike.

Staff Guidebook and Rewards

Artist Rules:
-Artists must create at least 2 free adopts every 4 weeks
-Artists may make any rarity up to rare, but they can only make rare adopts every 5 common/uncommon.
-Artists can run any type of contest/sale they want
-Artists can sell their adopts for C$ and USD, and will keep the money from those adopts.
-Artists that choose to take on customs/do others MYOs are required to make their own pricing.
-Artists must include the archive number in the title of the post, and include a list of traits in the description.
-Artists must require Username and ID on their competition forms for archival purposes.

Moderator Rules:
-Moderators are required to check pms, threads, and other Galactipups related things.
-Moderators must be calm, fair, and respectful when responding to things. They must also respond in a timely manner.
-Moderators must be confident in their ability to know when to hand out strikes.
-Moderators must be able to answer questions effectively and cite the rules if necessary.
-If moderators are unsure of a questions answer, they must consult an admin/owner.

Archivist Rules:
-Archivists are required to keep the archive, bank, and all related threads up to date.
-Archivists must be able to do these things in a timely manner.

Staff Perks:
-Artists get to retain any currency they've received from auctions and sales.

-Upon hire, artists will receive:
--1x Rare MYO
--2x Small Crystal Clusters
--The ability to turn one artist search entry into a custom for free

-The more adopts you create, the more rewards you earn:
--2x Adopts = 1x Common MYO
--3-4x Adopts = 1x Common MYO and 1x Uncommon MYO
--5-6x Adopts = 2x Uncommon MYO OR 1x Rare MYO
--7+ Adopts = 2x Rare MYO and 2x Uncommon MYO

Mods and Archivists will receive 1x Rare MYO every week of activity.
