This is the nursery, where you can pair two Thistlehooves and receive a baby calf! Please be sure to read the rules carefully before applying for openings. Openings are irregular, so keep an eye out for when a nursery artist posts! Your calf will have the combined design elements and traits of the parents. All traits are randomly rolled for depending on their rarity!

- All main Thistlehooves rules apply.
- You must have a barn and tartan before applying to breed.
- Both breeding partners must be adult Thistlehooves that are not related in any way.
- A Thistlehoof calf must be grown before it can breed. There is a 2 week cooldown after the calf is posted before it can be grown.
- Thistlehooves of any gender can breed together.
- Please remember Thistlehooves have only 4 breeding slots (5 with the use of an item). Consider carefully who you would like to offer/trade breeding slots with as every breeding counts for one slot on both parents!
- There is a 2 week cooldown before a Thistlehoof can be bred again, beginning after the calf is posted.
- A breeding will generally only result in one calf. There is a 2% chance that a breeding will result in two calves, rolled for after a slot is accepted.
- An adult Thistlehoof cannot be transferred to another user (trading, gifting, selling, etc) while it has a pending breeding.
- If the two parent Thistlehooves are owned by separate people, they must decide who will be paying for the breeding and retaining ownership of the calf before submitting a form. In the event of twins, the users should decide among themselves if the user submitting the form will keep both or retain one each. If keeping one each; it is up to the users to decide which calf to claim after they have been posted.
- Only companions owned by the user submitting the form may be applied. You cannot add other users companions, even if they are your breeding partners.
- Up to 3 companions can be equipped on any given breeding. Their perks will stack.
- You cannot post WIP forms; everything must be filled out. Do not post forms while slots aren't open.
- You must have a completed form for auction slots; you do not need to post your form every time you increase your bid, just link to it.
- Nursery artists may charge whatever they like for their breeding slots.
- You may only apply for every other free breeding opportunity. Please give others opportunities to breed!
- You may post one mark on this thread to be aware of when breeding slots open. Please do not spam this thread otherwise! Questions are ok to be posted here or PMed to myself.
- Nursery items cannot be stored and can only be purchased while submitting a form. Only send payments for the nursery items after your form has been accepted.
- Currently, we do not allow offsite breedings.
