Prompt:
Borgata wanted to help the gummies each find a hat that was perfect for them, and when he went today his gummy worm friend was with a little gummy baby, and they wanted to find him a spotted hat.
Borgata knew just the thing! He had learned a bit of knitting and he spent hours on it, forming a tiny, imperfectly shaped blue hat with yellow polka dots, and a white pom pom on a string that would move whenever the gummy baby moved his head.
He knew it wasn't as fancy as some of the other hats he had brought, but hoped that the gummy and his parents would know it had been made with love and the utmost of care, even if by an unskilled craftsman.

Prompt:
As Borgata mourned his failed pumpkin, and the more excellently carved ones of the Chicoons around him, a light rain began to fall. Clouds darkened the sky as the rain picked up, and he felt this change in the weather matched his mood perfectly.
Some of the other Chicoons began to whine and grumble about the sudden downpour, but it actually made Borgata feel better, as though the universe were on his side once again.
As he looked at his pumpkin, he began to feel a sense of pride. It wasn't perfect, but it was his, and he had even done a rendition of Wiggly, right next to him. The two best friends that anyone could have, he thought to himself, and that made him smile.
Maybe things hadn't gone perfectly according to plan, but it had been a pretty great day. He'd tasted Chibucks for the first time and learned a new skill, even if it would take practice to perfect.
He reached over and began petting Wiggly on his head, telling him what a good boy he was. Wiggly nodded and stared back at him blankly, with an expression only Borgata could read. He knew it was a look of love.
