I have to say, I have been having an outstanding time with LOLO this year. I haven't participated in this event in quite some time. I actually hadn't been online and missed tons and tons of pets as well in the past years. With that being said, our members have been so overly generous with giving out treats. I was honestly surprised at how many people not only participated in the event, but how many people took the time to actually give out treats, create stories for a response to the trick or treaters, and create other pet/characters for their stories. It has really made me look at my creative side a bit more lately too, as I have tried to tie a story in with some of the trick or treater's stories when they visit. I like making things more personable and I've noticed that some others do the same thing as well. I understand that not everyone has time to write a story or send much of a reply, but to those that have, know that I have appreciated it very much.
For those that are able to leave your lights on constantly, I applaud you! I left mine on my accident and felt overwhelmed and doomed when I logged back in to see my message box.
I have one word of advice for people as I've come across this a few time this year, if you do get a trick or treat message when your lights are on, don't stress about not having a wishlist pet/item or not wanting to give a "trick". I would rather have a trick or get pets that aren't on my wishlist than receive no response at all. I encourage you to send what you have, as this is entirely out of generosity, or to respond with a trick. Tricks are a part of the game. You don't have to feel bad about sending a trick. Not having someone's wishlist pets/items is fine. Some accounts are quite new and you may not have been able to acquire many pets/items yet or maybe you have another reason for not being able to send pets/items. That is fine. A treat is just that, a treat. It's a gift. Be grateful, be happy, and most of all, have a great Halloween!!!
