i dont know the point of tokens they just seem like random items, i agree its gone a lil silent lately but also glad that there was a good start.

See, I try not to visit folks who obviously don't have anything on my wishlist. It's a small list, not easy to fill, and I don't want folks to feel guilty about not having anything to give. I also never turn my lights off lol

But maybe I'm doing this wrong? Would you folks want visits from someone if you wouldn't have a treat to give? FYI I'm happy to get treats and expect it at this point

I love seeing everyone's trick-or-treater and reading their stories, so small wl or huge wl doesn't matter to me. If I don't have anything WL to offer, then I give C$ or pets they can use to trade or give to other people visiting them (I don't do tricks).

Oh! Tokens can be traded in for pets or items each day of the Halloween event pets or items or both are added to an event page where you can trade tokens to take those Halloween pets/items! So some people want tokens so they can get more pets/items. Otherwise there is a banner that will give you a token every 20 mins ^^ hope that helps!

And also I just want to add I am not sad when users have tiny wishlists! I understand that and try my best to offer some wl or if not they get an older pet they can use for trading. Noooo feeling guilty for a small wl c:

giving older pets is nice for those gifts too, could help in the long run and get users somethin theyd like ^^

i’m really happy because i finally came up with messages for my tricks and treats! it took a little brain power to be creative, but i can’t wait to start using them! i felt so plain just sending treats without a fun little message </3 i’ve loved seeing all the cool costumes so far!

The bit of quiet that comes toward the second half is why I only allow revisits after the 15th! That way there's some more fun to be had once the initial rush is over, and to give a bonus to players who join early and play all the way through. So far I've had 177 total visitors (including revisits).

Hello, I'm here to ask for advice.
I want to participate in LOLO this year, for the first time. I'm already a bit late to the party and dressing up my pet and writing a story took longer than I anticipated.
Now I'm mostly done, but things got slightly out of hand.
Whenever I try to write, it either feels too short and stilted, or I get abducted by plot bunnies.
Can a LOLO story be too long? Mine's like...1900 words...
I can't decide if I should put in a few more days' work to re-write it and make it shorter, or say "this is as good as it gets, I'd just be wasting time 'improving' a story I'm already satisfied with" and go ahead and finally post my form.
