Rules

» You may not claim or use a Blobcat that does not belong to you. Adoptions are first come, first served. You may adopt more than one Blobcat from the same litter unless otherwise stated.

» You may not reuse, trace, or edit your Blobcat without my express written permission. You may not claim it as your own work. You MAY, however, crop, rotate, or resize the image for use in your sig or as your avatar. Off-site use for these purposes is allowed as long as a link to this thread or the Blobcats Carrd is included.

» You are also free to create your own art and/or story for your Blobcat, as long as a link to this thread or my username is included in the event it is posted anywhere.

» Once you have adopted a Blobcat, it is yours to keep. You may not sell it for RL currency, but if you wish to trade it to another CS player, you may do so at your own risk. More info. here!

» If you are found to be in violation of these or any Chicken Smoothie site rules, your adoptions will be voided and your Blobcats returned to the Cat Room where they can be adopted by someone else, and you will be banned from adopting any more.

» You must specify in your form which Blobcat you are looking to adopt. Payment must be received within 24 hours of your post for your adoption to be processed.

» Any instances of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any other type of bigotry will be met with an immediate ban.

​Well, we think so. We're not quite sure where they came from...

» Blobcats--as we've started calling them-- are rotund little felines, with the adults reaching no larger than 3 pounds. They are laid-back, curious creatures, each of whom have their own distinct personality, likes, and dislikes.

» Each Blobcat has a small heart-shaped marking on their left ear. We're not sure whether these marks serve any purpose, but they're pretty dang cute, if we do say so ourselves...

» Blobcats seem to be found in endless colours and patterns, and some may even have extra appendages or appear wearing clothes!

» It was recently discovered that Blobcats don't seem to mind water. Some of them even appear to enjoy it.

» Blobcats possess prehensile tails! They are able to grasp and move objects with their tails.

» The first Blobcat to be discovered approached the Caretaker one day as they were tending their garden. Juniper quickly made herself at home and has since become the shelter mascot.

The three varieties of Blobcat that will be available for adoption are common, uncommon, and special.

Common Blobcats are the type we encounter most often. There's no end to the combinations of colours,
patterns, and facial expressions documented in them! Less often, we encounter Tailless Blobcats.

Uncommon Blobcats show up from time to time. They share the same bright variations in appearance as their
common siblings, but also possess a bobtail, fluffy tail, or flower. There have even been rumoured sightings of a
two-tailed Blobcat! But fear not, cat lovers! These unique tail types don't cause them any harm. Like Lady Gaga,
they were born this way.

Special Blobcats are somewhat of a rare occurrence. These Blobcats possess the same types of vibrant
appearances as their common siblings, but also come to us wearing costumes, or with extra appendages
such as wings.

Adoption fee for common Blobcats: 1C$
Adoption fee for uncommon Blobcats: 2C$
Adoption fee for special Blobcats: 3C$+
Price for special Blobcats will be based on design complexity, and will be noted individually in the Cat Room.

» In the event you receive a Strange Seed from the Wishing Well, you must care for it in order for it to grow. Each ..time you water your seed it has a 50% to grow! (There will be bad luck protection in place so don't worry if your ..seed doesn't grow right away.) You may water a seed once per day.

​The ability to trade Blobcats has been listed in the rules since the
beginning but this post will list out the process.

» You may trade your Blobcats 1:1 for another Blobcat. At this time trading Blobcats for CS goods (items, pets, C$) or other UMAs is not allowed. This may change in the future. You may not trade your Blobcats for RL currency.
» If a Blobcat that has been explored with is traded, their explore points will be reset to 0.
» If a Blobcat with items equipped is traded, the items will be returned to the owner's inventory and will NOT change ownership with the cat.
» In order to trade with someone, one party must fill out and post the trade form, and the other party must quote the post stating that they agree.
» To gift a Blobcat to someone else, the gifter must fill out and post the form, and the recipient must quote the post accepting the gift.

» Any two Blobcats can be bred. Two offspring will be produced.
» You may breed with someone else's Blobcat, as long as they agree to it. If you wish to breed your Blobcat
with someone else's, they must quote the breeding form and say they agree. Whoever pays for the breeding
will own the offspring. If two people decide to split the payment and offspring, they must arrange it at their
own discretion.
» The attributes/appearance of the offspring will be based on the parents. Each offspring will be rolled
individually.
» If redeeming a love charm from exploring for your breeding, please include a link to the post where you received the charm in your form.

» A custom Blobcat may not be modelled after existing CS pets or copyrighted IP (ie Pokemon). Colour palettes inspired by these are okay, however.
» A custom Blobcat may be inspired by an existing Blobcat, but exact copies are not allowed.
» When filling out the form, please give as much information as you can as to what you'd like your cat to look like.
