Yeah, I'll come out and say that was me and my partner. I saw:

to me who hadn't seen the cat before, saw this and was like "OH HOLY MOLE THATS BEAUTIFUL HOW COME I DIDN'T SEE IT??" and my wife and I both posted in the August swap thread instead of checking the August outcomes forum like we should have ^^; feel kinda silly now ngl

No worries! Happens to the best of us. c': I know I've done some silly things like that before.

i know i'm extremely, extremely late to this conversation but i just wanted to positively rant about this month's horses; they're STUNNING!! the zebra stripes mixed with the realistic base coats look so, so pretty and i'm just in love. this is probably my favourite horse little ever, aside from the rainbowmanes. they're just everything i could've ever wanted in a horse outcome and i really hope we see more zebra patterns in the future.

needless to say, i'm starting a new hoard <3

Now that everyone is grown (unless I'm missing one, lol) I think it's time for me to do the gush post I've been wanting to do, haha

Hammies

It was really hard to pick a favorite from these guys! Love the palette and that we got two different babies. I think this one's my favorite by a slight margin for his soft brown eyes and little yellow nose

Butterfly Wolves

These are so lovely! The wing patterns on butterfly wolves have always reminded me a bit of light through water so a pool theme was an amazing idea! This guy is my favorite for that swirl and how his design kind of makes me think he's wearing pants with his little feet sticking out <3

Cats

(had to borrow an image from the archive because I missed her, lol)
This was another set that I didn't have a clear favorite in, but I think she squeaked out on top for her warm, soft colors and little pink nose. I'm a sucker for pink-nosed kitties! This litter did a great job of showing off how lovely patterned cats can be with little to no white markings!

"Chamelon"s

I've never heard of or seen a couple of the melons these were based on, so it was really cool to watch these grow and see all the guesses about their theme. This golden cutie makes me want to try this melon (the casaba iirc?), he looks delicious!

Horses

LOVED the zorses this month! Really cool that they're not only a variety of coat colors, but their striping patterns are also all very different. This one is my personal favorite because deep liver is my favorite coat color and the star/snip combo is my favorite face marking combo. I also really love a partial sock and two-toned hoof. He really hit on a lot of my favorites, haha.
And of course irl, I ended up with a gray bog monster, lmao

Deer

The color palette on these is just lovely, like little sunset lava lamps~ And I love the subtle hearts on them! Do they all have hearts? I don't see one on two of the bucks (my eyes are a bit shot atm), but I caught at least one on all the others. This pretty girl is my favorite for the prevalence of that bold, dark purple contrasting with the white <3

Dogs

These were tricky to pick from as well. I think I mentioned before that they remind me of chocolate diamonds, one of my favorite gems. They all have some element that made me favor them, but this one I think is my favorite. I love her graduating hues that results in her pale feet and dark tipped tails~

Lions

Even though they aren't part of the regular adopts, they were released in August so they count, haha. I had not realized that we hadn't had a set of natural lions yet! And boy were these the way to fix that! This girl is my favorite for the way her facial markings make her eyes pop, and her soft mousy gray coat.

Ponies

I'll just add on my favorite from the bunch at the bottom here. I can't say much more about them since they're mine, haha

i want to trade for them but have wishlist lock so would be nice if they were added u.u

Here are my favorites of August!


My favorite pet this month! I am a sucker for black/grey/white together, not to mention I looove stripes in general. This has been one of my favorite horse 'litters' in a long time!


I know I know they're a fan favorite, I just can't help myself. The color fade is really nice, and I love how it comes back on the tail


I really liked this BW set. Blue and white are so good together, and these really show that off


Absolutely love the way the colors were used on this one


I really like how the coloring was done on this one


I like this one simply because it looks like a watermelon


I love back markings like this on animals a lot so naturally this one won me over


and finally; ballarina slippers that's what I first saw with this one for some reason XD

Hey... if the ponies show the creeping feeling of dread... I did not get the last outcome with the light piercing through Q.Q so, I am doomed to drown in my dread?? Noooooo

But seriously I love pet designs with a message and hope to see more litters like them.

Honestly, this is my favourite outcome for this month. I love naturally colored cats and especially bengals. This design is just so nice <3

Pets are added to the archive manually, by the one and only site archivist. They may just be busy with other things and not had time yet to add them. c:

(and that everyone doesn't seem too disappointed that the last little one didn't turn out to be a lion haha.)

I said I'd let everyone know a bit more about each outcome now that the last little one has grown.
(I used this website to help me when creating them, so I'll also credit them here too:
Royal Bengal Cattery


This one is likely the most common colour and pattern one thinks of when they think of Bengals.
Classic brown colouring with Donut Rosette (spots)



This one is simply just a deeper "red" version of the one above.
Brownish-Red with a mix off Donut & (a few) Clustered Rosettes



This lovely guy gives us more variety with its colour and fur patterns ~
Silver with Marbled Markings



One of the crowd favourites! (and personally my pick of the bunch too...shhh.)
This one is a bit of toss up between either "Mink" or "Lynx" in colour but I leaned more towards the latter.
Snow Lynx with Clouded Rosettes



Another fave of many; this striking fella was both a challenge and joy to colour ~
(Black) Charcoal with Clouded Rosettes



And finally THIS little shy baby who made us wait for their big reveal is actually...NOT a real Bengal at all!
This one I just had a bit of fun with and simply based his patterning/colours on the blanket of this litter.
So you can decide for yourself if they're a true Bengal or not. ;D
