Hello everyone!
I would like to thank each and every one of you for coming out in full force and making some absolutely lovely cats!! Some of these will be NPC's and some of them will definitely be near and dear OC's to my heart. I am still in absolute awe at how many kitties yall managed to make in such a short time, and all of you - from the mass Kitty Creators to the one or two dabblers, deserve a round of applause and a pat on the back.
Over the course of this event, I've watched many of you grow and experiment and dabble - ultimately becoming stronger designers as a result. For those of you that learned something, went out of your comfort zone, or just made a kitty that you're really proud of; well done.
I cannot go through each and every design to compliment each one - with so so *so* many pages, I am pretty sure the CS gods would smite me for posting so much in such a short time. So, instead, I'm going to overall provide feedback and kind words for each and every artist that entered. Feel free to comment any final thoughts you'd like to share before I have this thread locked tomorrow sometime <3
Starting with....
bakuraas.
Your first entry was a monochromatic dream, I loved the simple charm of the greyscale coupled with the flower crown. It greatly reminds me of Kingdom of Roses, and I adore it. It was a very strong entry to a long line of lovely kitties!
Some of my favourites are X, Y, and Z, Though you overall display a tremendous amount of comfort portraying a wide variety of traits and genes. It was always a treat seeing you come back for more rolls and I thoroughly look forward to using these kitties you've made for me.
strawberrymwilk,
Your first entry was a super cute pink rockstar! I loved the detail that you put into the guitar. One of my favorite entries was this Cupid design and how you got creative with the 'not legendary' traits. Your creative covers weren't overlooked, however, and this cover alone was my favorite of your entire set. Your energy and eagerness to help, in addition to still creating cats of your own, was very admirable! You're a lovely designer and I really saw you grow as you expanded to more edits and markings, well done!
NaCL
Your first entry was strong with a seasoned warrior, whose appearance has a story to tell. By the end of the event, it was clear you really grew comfortable with accessories and magic expression, judging by this friend and this friend. I have a very hard time choosing a favorite design you procured, as so many of them are strong in their own ways; I love the eye motif of this friend, the color scheme cohesiveness of this friend and the coolness factor of this friend. Overall, you're a strong designer and were before this event; but I can definitely see an improvement in character creation by the end of this as well. Well done.
GraveBlues
Your First Design was a strong contender right out the gate; the stunning blues, the fierce grin, the realistic markings - you're an outstanding designer and I expected nothing less from you <3 I loved how well the colors worked for this friend and I quite loved the magic expression for this friend. Overall, you were a treat to see among the event participants, and I hope you had a fun time yourself :)
Minifun990
Your first design was a simple little blue friend, who has a very cute little flower accessory. However, I could see the event also got you to grow out of your comfort zone as well; by the end of it, you were making much more complex and detail-rich designs, even giving some of them custom companions or really creative marking choices. You are one of the artists I thoroughly enjoyed watching blossom over the course of the event, and I definitely admire the work you put in and appreciate every single cat you've made!! I really like the color balance you struck with this friend, as well as how you designed this one ! You are among one of the artists that really made quite a bit of designs, and you were always a treat to see. Well done!
craig?
I quite liked how you interpreted your first design with the rough, slightly angry demeanor of this beat up little friend. This was your first and only entry for the event, but I still quite enjoyed your entry, and thank you so much for participating!
krazykitty00
Your first entry was strong with a pose and design that screamed personality; you're quite good at depicting personality with pose and design. Every subsequent design continued to expand on the fantastic foundations you have as an artist and designer. Some of my favorites was your creative use of genesplice on this Kitty, the personality on this snobby little wizard and your final design which struck a good balance between simple, refined, and detailed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed your presence in this event, and it was a delight seeing you create.
ToraOkami303
You were a strong participant throughout the entirety of the event. Your First Storkie had a really lovely cream color to your Sabino that I haven't seen in many other designs, complete with the pretty simplicity of the flowers was immaculate. You made quite a few designs and it was a delight to watch you experiment. I love the creativity displayed for this hairstyle and the marking work done for this friend here. Thank you so much for participating in this event, and well done!

Hello friend! It was nice to see you playing around in Storkies again, and with your lovely designs nonetheless! I had high hopes with your first entry with your clean edits, confident usage of colors and markings, and I was not disappointed as design after design came out, all high quality in their own ways. It is very hard for me to pick favorites, as so many of them are just, so amazing, but here are a handful;
I'm a sucker for all things purple, gold and drapey so these two got to me easy, however, this child is easily my favorite and easily a design I could see myself falling head over heels for. Overall, there is not a single design I can see that I don't absolutely adore, as you (1) touch on many (2) aesthetics I truly love (3). As the event went on, it was nice seeing you experiment further with accessories! It was a treat having you participate, and thank you so much! Well done.
spookypuff
You've been a longtime Kiwi Species participant, and it was super nice to see you here. Your first entry starte doff strong with a cohesive color scheme; simple yet elegant. As the event advanced, I did see some experimentation and I quite enjoyed seeing you try new things. I think my favorite of the bunch was this moonblessed child. Thank you ever so much for participating, friend, and I look forward to seeing you at the next species event!
mystoxiide
Your first entry was quite strong as I am a fan of grayscales, and of course we get the classic Vik Faunal! Memes aside, I love how you did the markings and though it is a simpler design, it's absolutely gorgeous. Your second design is also very creative and interesting, and I quite liked seeing how you combined frosted and sooty. I think it's a VERY unique design and II can see why you wanted to keep. Thank you so much for participating, and well done!
Paro
Your first entry immediately picqued my interest with your immense attention to detail, your usage of color, and your lineart style. I overall thought this character could be used for an NPC and I immediately got ideas for them; which is a trend for many of your designs. All of your designs you contributed to the event gave me immediate ideas and I adored them all. I loved the fashion design and color scheme of this one, as well as literally everything about this friend; the contrasting color schemes, the bird skull, the reaper scythe? Immaculate. This friend is an absolute scrunkly creachur and this creation is beautiful and complex in all the best of ways. You started and ended strong, and you were a treat to see posting. Thank you so much for participating in this event; and though I couldn't comment on all of your gorgeous designs, know that I love each and every one of them. Well done!
ruethefangirl
Your first entry was one of my favorite designs of the whole event; I am a sucker for gothic designs, and you managed to hit some of my favorite tropes all in one design; monochrome, goth, swirls, feminine ; there's so much to love here. Genuinely one of my favorite Storkie designs ever. Likewise, this is another one of my favorites for similar reasons, but I really think you've got quite a knack for designing and it was a treat to see you playing along with everyone else! Well done <3
Whovian5EVA
Your first design was quite strong, I quite enjoyed your usage of gradients, white markings, and limited colors to create quite the interesting and adorable design! I loved the accessories and your usage of color. Over the course of the event I saw your handling of markings and genetics improve, and your ending design is absolutely gorgeous and quite detailed! You really improved over the course of the event ,and I'm very impressed! You were a treat to have around, and I am grateful you participated! Thank you so much and well done! <3
witchingdreamons
Your first entry was super lovely in your usage of color, as well as the markings you chose, and the overall vibes it gave off were super lovely. My favorite designs of the batch you made were probably this handsome prince type or This injured Mage. Your first entry was quite a strong start; your usage of moonblessed was well done, and I loved the colors on the hair! You stuck through the event for it's entirety, and I really feel like each design got a bit better and stronger too! one of my favorites was this friend, whose simple color palette is quite soothing on the eyes. You also did quite well with the markings and color scheme of this one and you have quite a good handle on color. Well done!
Suchgo
Your first entry had quite the fun and interesting energy and your followup entry kept the fantastic oranges rolling. Though you entered twice, your designs were overall a welcome sight to see and I really appreciate you participating in the event! Thank you <3
midnightFOXO
Your first entry was positively adorable; I loved the lesbian flag bandana and the simple markings on the dark base. It definitely stood out in a good way! You contributed quite a few good designs, a handful of my faves being this one and this one. Your marking work was also on point, and I have to say I genuinely enjoyed all of your designs. Thank you so much!
OriGalaxii
Your first entry was a super cute bookworm and I instantly felt like I could place them in a world somewhere! I loved the inclusion of their books, and how you turned a fire Storkie into a book nerd. All of your entries were incredibly strong with creative accessory designs, and the coat designs were very high quality too! Coat-wise this was one of my favorites and I thought this was a VERY clever way of expressing a missing limb and minimal water expression all in one. The fur edits on this cat are immaculate and this is truly a dream Vampire Storkie. I saw a ton of growth in your designs over the course of the event as well, and overall, you just did a wonderful job. Thank you so much for entering friend :)
EchoIre,
Your first entry was equal parts elegant and complex, and I loved the vibes it gave off. The coat was pretty, and the accessory matched well. I thought this entry was also quite cute, and I really loved the blues you picked for this friend. Overall you had incredibly lovely colored designs with some great accessory designs to match, well done! And thank you for joining us and participating <3
KandieFloofsterLoch
Your first entry was a very cute kitty with an adorable little plushie. Loved the theme that you went for there. You were quite creative with your accessory designs and your interpretation of trickier genes like genesplice but you seemed entirely unphased by challenges tossed your way! Overall very impressed with the wide array of things you tried, and thank you for participating!
LiLi041
Your first entry was quite modest and adorable all in one; I loved the shaped pupils, the lacing, and the color palette you chose. However it was quite clear you were just warming up as you started hitting me with quality design after quality design after quality design. Your work with accessories is outstanding and your usage of color is absolutely phenomenal. You're quite the strong designer, and I look forward to seeing whatever you might be doing next. Thank you for participating ! <3

If I missed anyone, I do apologize, this was made incredibly late at night. I want to say thank you again to all of you. I will be going through all of the cats, personally, to ensure all designs are finalized and no rolls were missed - but if you think your rolls were missed don't hesitate to post it in the customer support channel of our Discord server. Thank you again for an outstanding two week long event, and you all absolutely rock. I can't wait to see you for our next event!
