Apollo has always been drawn to the stars, sitting awake late at night to count them and discover new constellations. It started as a way to connect with his mother, who was made in likeness of the universe. He now watches them for his own enjoyment, keeping a particular favorite constellation: Felis the cat. This constellation can't be found in any star atlases, as an astronomer chose to omit it from the official constellation list in 1922. Shortly after, the man met tragedy. Apollo believes the constellation of Felis holds some sort of power, and admires it. It is also the only constellation that looks like him, and he dreams of one day becoming as admired and adored as the stars are.

Prompt: stargazer (not sure if that’s the kittens name or name of the prompt so I’ll use it as the name) has been drawn to the stars ever since he was born. Perhaps it’s a connection through genetics but I think it may be because the first thing he saw when his eyes opened was the big full moon! Since then he spends his nights staring up into space, dreaming of living among the stars and the moon, fascinated by the different shapes the moon takes over time. One day he hopes he can somehow get up into space, but he’s not sure how to yet, so he’s been practicing on his jumping and climbing skills. Maybe if he can jump high enough, he’ll be able to get onto the moon and explore all its wonders!
