Trachyandra tortilis - Growing up, Seneca was insecure about the texture and appearance of her hair. It wasn't the same as a lot of her friends or others she saw in magazines or on TV. When she came across the ribbon plant, she felt connected, represented. She likes to use wire to shape her dreads into the same curls of her favorite succulent.

Hylotelephium Sieboldii or October daphne

every since she was young, Soleil had a green thumb. as she grew older and began to want to branch out into the plants she had, her highschool girlfriend gifted her a Hylotelephium Sieboldii in desperate need of TLC. Soleil was able to nurse it back to health and even as she gained more plants, and broke up with her girlfriend, she is always able to come back to the succulent and the memories around it.

prompt: Grover has many succulents in his plant nursery, but his favorite would have to be his precious Echeveria elegans succulent, which is also known as the white Mexican rose as well. This little plant was found thrown out on the sidewalk, the pot broken and soil spilling out. Grover saw the poor plant and quickly scooped it up and took it home to his nursery. He put the succulent in a new pot and refilled the pot with soil and watered it. He set it in a sunny patch of the nursery greenhouse and the plant grew wonderfully. (98 words)

She hadn't meant for things to get this far out of hand, looking at her wall of succulents. Once upon a time she couldn't keep any plant alive, including relatives of the beautifully resilient plants before her. Not enough sun here, too much water there. Just when she had gotten comfortable with the idea she'd never be a plant mom, a small, stubby tiger tooth aloe caught her eye. It was several intense shades of green dotted by off white spots; the edges lined with spikes. It screamed, give me your best shot. In hindsight, she never stood a chance.

Jiminy owns a variety of succulents, but it's the Bear's Paw (Cotyledon tomentosa) that is her favorite amongst them all.
As a child she struggled to use her paws unlike the other children, and with that came the bullying from her classmates for her having abnormally large paws.
But the succulent reminds her that her paws are special as they look alike to the little plant, that she's just got cute bear paws like the little plant.
This adorably fuzzy succulent brings Jiminy much joy seeing it each and every day, that and the fact that she really loves bears!
