As the pair circled the stranger, Amaranth spoke: "Why did you run? What have you got, stranger?" The werm looked mortified and stayed silent. Benedict gave his companion a withering look and covered her mouth with his tail before approaching the newcomer more kindly. He pulled a fruit from his satchel and offered it, purring. "Th-thank you... my name is Dandelion, and, um, I don't have anything, really... except for this place." The stranger gestured to the green oasis around him. Again, Benedict gave Amaranth a frustrated glance until she replied; "Yes, well, this is Benedict, and you can call me Amaranth. We're adventurers seeking shelter from the storm outside...
