📒Species Information:📒

Chamaquids are a hybrid creature between a Lizard and Canine. These creatures have strong affinity's to liquids, so much so that their lower halves are completely fluid! This fluid is held together by a thin yet strong layer of translucent skin. If a Chamaquid is injured their liquid can leak out and acts similar to blood.

Diet:
A Chamaquids diet consists of Fruit, Vegetables, Fish, Bugs, and Eggs!

Size:
Chamaquids can be anywhere from 1 - 3 feet in height, and 1 - 4 feet in length

Weight:
Chamaquids can weigh anywhere between 120 lbs to 300 lbs

Chamaquids live on a huge island known as "The Chamalands". It was titled this name due to the only species of intelligent creature living on it is Chamaquids! Their island consists of 5 major biomes. The plains which is large open grasslands, Dark Woods which is thick deep woodlands, Sunrise Beach which is the beach that wraps completely around the island, Rocky Depths which is a deep cavern in the ground that splits the woodlands from the Peril Peaks, and Peril Peaks which are extremely tall mountains covered in deep snow.

There are two types of Chamaquids on the island.

Standard Chamaquids are on base and usually have traits that don't modify the Chamaquids general appearance to much. (I.E: Horns, Tail, Ears, Claws, Eye changes, Fur style, and Charms in liquid)

Mythical Chamaquids can be on or off base and usually have traits that greatly modify the Chamaquids general appearance. (Wings, limbs removal/addition, limbs changes, and magical elements)

Chamaquids are obtained through a few different methods!
1.) Raffles & Giveaways
2.) Dewdrop Adopt Sets
3.) Litter Drops
4.) Special Events
5.) Staff Customs

Chamaquids are typically free in all forms, the only time any sort of currency may come into play is if a staff member has an emergency and needs funds and sells customs/special adopts for some, or a special Mythical based Chamaquid is released

🦎 Can I use my Chamaquid off site?: Yes!! All Chamaquids are 100% unique and can be used as a personal character on or off the website! Most of the species activities & Adoptions will be held here, but other than that you are completely welcome to use them how you see fit!

🦎 Be Kind: Please be kind to both staff and other users!

🦎 Do not claim Chama's as your own: If you do not own it, do not claim it. Simple as that!

🦎 Do NOT edit or redistribute official art: All Chamaquids art must be left untampered unless specified otherwise.

🦎 Do not lie, cheat, or beg to get a Chamaquid: We promise you will have your chance to get a Chamaquid, please be patient and keep an eye out.

If you are new to this sort of species, then welcome!! Here I will help explain a little bit on how the species work!

⚠️General Info:⚠️

Unlike some other species, Chamaquids do not have set traits!
Each Chamaquid has a unique design, and can only be adopted once, much like a normal CS! This allows you to use the Chama as a unique character both on and off site

⚠️Getting a Chamaquid:⚠️

Chamaquids do not have MYO slots or MYO items, all Chama's are made and can only be made by staff! So the only methods to getting one is through the Adopts page. make sure to check back frequently, as we try to update with adopts as often as possible!

⚠️Participating with your Chamaquid:⚠️

There are a few ways you can use your Chama!

One is by adding them to your forum signature for decoration to show others! You can get and save up your dew drops to buy items to decorate your Chama as well!

You can also head over to Scavenging and send your Chama on adventures! Chamas are able to come back with Dewdrops, Items, Junk, or even a never before seen Chamaquid!
You can also check our Events occasionally to see if any new events pop up for you to participate in!

You can also participate in Trading or Breeding as a way to obtain new Chamaquids as well!

⚠️What to do first:⚠️

First thing you can do before you have your Chamaquid is to make your Co-op Archive !! You will need one to be able to participate in the species!

After that it's just a matter of waiting for an adopt set to be released so you can get your first Chama!
