You feed Snowbyrd the contents of the vial, and a healthy coat of cave flora grows over their back! It's almost as pure white as snow, as though it grew to match their back markings!

Esther just as eagerly eats what's in the black vial; they've definitely learned to expect good things from vials you offer them. When they finish the black one, the algae on their back grows in darker in several patches, creating a cloudy gradient!
