Give me a time your cat(s) pulled a well-meaning trick: mongoose's chatter has been madly in love with aardvark's dig for moons, and he's been tirelessly courting her. he takes her on dates, whether it be a stroll across the territory or just sitting and watching the sunset. when he was finally sure that he wanted to propose, he knew he wanted to make a joke. as such, he left a trail of pebbles from camp to their favorite spot to watch the sunset. when she arrived, he chose to hide in a nearby tree. only after she was in position, he dropped down while yelling "will you be my mate?" in the hopes of surprising her. well, aardvark's dig accidentally stumbled backwards and twisted her paw while trying to jump away. she thought he was some predator, and they still laugh about it to this day.

It’s not quite possible for Stargazer to meet the large dog’s energy, but he sure gets excited as much as she does. For a long while he thinks that she pretends to be a cat just for a joke so he joins in and starts pretending to be a dog. In his head, specie swapping is apparently the cool thing to do these days.
“Meow! I mean, ”Woof!“. He chuckles. ”I know a cat mommy for a cat-puppy. Woof, woof!“. Star scoots off to the side and grabs a stick in his mouth. Then he tries wagging his tail like a dog would, but it refuses to move with the speed Joan’s does, so he quickly gives up.
”It’s been fun, but I think it’s time to stop pretending and go back to our own species.“ When Joan looks confused, he explains further. ”I mean, you’re a dog and I’m a cat.“ He smiles. ”No, really, you’re a dog.“ And when she pretends to meow, he adds: ”Nope, positive you’re not a cat.“ However, Joan tries so hard to be a good cat-puppy… delivery service? He starts to feel bad for trying to force her to be someone she might not want to be. ”You know what, never mind. You can be a cat if you want to. You’re great just the way you are.“

Joan would attempt to purr while befriending Honeyfur. Her purr is very unusual, in that it consists of her tail going very fast, and there being no noise or rumbling feeling, but it's definitely a purr.

"I am cool cat. Am sorry you have dog-curse, also, but hear dog-curse not too bad, because here are excellent sticks! Belly rubs and ear scritches very good, too, strongly recommend."

Joan laughs about it too. She has a very weird laugh, in that she meows very loudly and suddenly several times. Her accent must have been stronger than they thought, as it sounds almost like "boof!" rather than "meow". But it's definitely a meow, because Joan's a cat.

Ephemeral, first unnerved by the cat, lets out a soft laugh. Her stiff shoulders begin to droop, and she looks as if she is thinking for a moment, "Do you think rabbits know they have such big ears?" she meows, returning a dumb question to the tom. Maybe some cats aren't so bad.

Share an experience your cat has had with... the paranormal: Mosquitowing is named after one of her mother's sisters, a past warrior of ChaosClan named Mosquitoflight who tragically passed at 15 moons old due to a structure collapse. Mosquitowing swears to herself that she sees her namesake's ghostly form, alongside her deceased mother Cicadastar, around her mother Cascadefreckle sometimes, especially if the pair of them are patrolling together in the swamps, though she has always felt these presences are those of a protector.
