- Carrotstar - leader - tom - a shorthaired ginger-and-white mackerel tabby with leaf-green eyes - tagged; Cockroachstar (TundraClan)
- Carrotstar admitted, "SeaClan only has an increased chance in kits whenever we are trying to bounce back from a tragedy, so I take this particular boom as a good sign, to hope that the murders will finally cease." He then added cheerfully, "Oh, speaking of good news. SeaClan usually struggles in leafbare due to increased chances of a greencough epidemic, but this last leafbare, we haven't had a single case."
- Thistletuft hadn't wandered too far away from the point where SeaClan had entered the Gathering, but noticed a kit, of all cats, staring at him with wide eyes. The fluffy gray-and-white tom decided to berate whoever he woulld meet from his clan for bringing a kit to the Gathering, not to mention leaving them alone in the thick of it. Taking a deep breath, the tom sat down, neatly tucking his paws in and covering them with his tail, hoping to lessen the kit's fright, and mewed, "Hello, young one, are you lost?"
- "This is why I love speaking to you," Bramblinglight murmured, leaning into the older she-cat's side, "you always make me feel at ease." She then tried to chuckle, but stopped midway as she continued, "Funny thing is, Dappledawn keeps saying I should become the medicine cat she never was, and just let fate take its course if a patient is fated to join StarClan, but... I'm basically her very spitting image. I feel like I failed the Clan whenever I fail to help anyone," the torbie sighed, "like... like when Eggartail, one of our warriors, passed away two leafbares ago due to greencough."
- Anwyll breathed in his mate's scent and sighed with contentment as Bracketcloud murmured, "Oh, mother... only if we could see each other more often... but we live so far away now from each other..."

- Cicelycloud purred, "Hey, I don't blame Snailstar at all, you know? It's just IvyClan tradition, and I respect it. I don't like it that I can't see you anymore often anymore, but I'll live. You should see the SeaClan cats when they start swimming in the great waters, though!" She gushed, eyes twinkling with wonder, "you'd think they were just fish with fur!" She shuddered slightly, "I'm still getting used to the colder weather, but Aloespots - the she-cat I met last Gathering, who vouched for me when I got found by a SeaClan patrol - showed me a little trick, hehe."
- Ghostpaw blinked in amusement at Frogpaw's reply, meowing at the end, "You really remind me of my sister, Shellpaw! She'd probably tease me a little, and then try to fib and exaggerate things the older apprentices said to her, but at the end, she always makes me feel better about... you know," she looked down at her paws, tail drooping a little, "too shy to strike up conversations with anyone other than her..."

- Ploverstar - leader - she-cat - a shorthaired black classic tabby with green eyes - tagged; Tawnyrose (Highgarden)
- Ploverstar breathed, once Tawnyrose had finished her explanation, "I... hope to, one day, see my clan grow as big as yours, ma'am. I promised that to Cloud Chaser when he first gave me my nine lives, and to Darkcrow and his small band of former OwlClan cats who eventually joined my Clan. And..." she trailed off, struggling to find the right words, "I... I guess, I do understand how your system works, and it is quite the interesting one, I think! I wonder if a traditional clan would allow for multiple deputies when CloudClan grows that fast..."

- Coalshadow's whiskers twitched in amusement at Shardpaw's comment and meowed slowly, "It's not so bad for us with longer fur, Shardpaw. We get snow in the middle of leaf-fall, remember?" His apprentice gulped at the thought of snow and nodded sheepishly, "Oh... oh yeah.."
Coalshadow chuckled and addressed Copperpaw, "Cliff-running is dangerous, but that's why I said only some of us are specialized." He blinked thoughtfully, "I... think it's only Ploverstar, Jackdawnose, and Capercaillieflight at the moment."

- Pineshadow smiled politely as she began her lengthy tale, "Ah... yes. It's a bit of a long one, but here we are. Mm," she reminisced, "I was once a loner who was called upon my ancestors to rebuild a clan called EmberClan, and I became its leader, as Hawkstar. Many moons of happiness were spent leading the clan; however, tragedy struck when many events led to its disbanding." The tabby's long fur fluffed out in fear as she murmured, "I'd rather not utter what led to its disbanding, if it is all right with you." The IceClan deputy then recounted her journey to IceClan, meowing, "I stayed to the end, until no other cat was left in thise accursed lands. I vowed never to trust StarClan again, and journeyed north, and met Leekstar, who was just starting her own clan. After a few days of speaking with her, I decided to give clan life another try... and now here we are," Pineshadow chuckled, "I'm now its deputy, with the name of Pineshadow. Our clan is in the middle of a pine forest," the IceClan deputy explained, "and I chose my new name carefully. Pine- for the trees we live among, and -shadow to mean that I will always defend my clan, like the shadows that cast over our camp, which will never disappear."
- 'A kittypet thing,' Icestep mused silently, 'would make sense, if their leader was once a kittypet...' The IceClan medicine cat nodded his thanks and mewed, "I do hope I wasn't being rude, Ceriseberry. It is fascinating, to think of how other clans got their names, you see," he went on, "I may be a humble medicine cat, but I could call myself a scholar, of lore. I do love hearing from cats in all walks of life."

- Mochacloud smiled a little, though it did not quite reach her eyes, "It's okay. IceClan helped me to move on from my past. I've got so many cats who could be my own littermates, or best friends, I shouldn't ever mope around. Too little time for that," she laughed, "eh?" She then nodded, muaing, "Yeah, a clan is a big family, full of cats who are out for you and each other. I loved the concept so much when Leekstar first told me about it, I basically begged her until she agreed to let me join."

- Thrushpaw stayed as calm as he could, slowly following the familiar scent of Lindenmist, the warrior who had last ventured off, in hopes of reconnecting with her for an easier navigation through the mass of cats that was the Gathering. Instead, however, he'd come face to face with a much bigger apprentice. Clearly she was not from IceClan, so the gray-and-white mackerel tabby mewed politely, "Hello, I'm Thrushpaw, of IceClan. I... uh," he trailed off, struggling to find words to introduce himself further, and ended up mewing, "I hope you are doing well?" He had no idea what 'colony' meant, but he figured he'd ask at the next opportunity.
