Name: Cai
Species: Domestic Cat
Kennel Number: 11
Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I want her because the design pulled me in. I like natural colors and nothing crazy neon or unrealistic, but these colors were perfect. It is almost like surrealism, how the unnatural green looks so natural in the pattern. I will put Cai in my charries thread and order art of her. Maybe she can mate with one of my charries.
I know lots of art shops for art of cats, so I would probably go there for art of her. I might also write a story for her. It would involve Michael and David, her owners' kids. If I did breed her, I would most likely do it to one of my pre-existing cat charries. I would hold an Oekaki Contest for breeding them, since I am not the best at breeding. I currently have a similar contest for two of my canine charres, and it is doing very well. I love all of the entries on it, many people on CS are much better breeders that I.
Cai immediately grabbed my attention when I was scrolling through the kennels. I simply adore her. I knew from the moment I saw her that she was perfect to be one of my new charries.
I am always looking for new cat charries. Most of my charries are dogs or wolves, and I always plan on making or adopting more cats. I am really into Warrior Cats, and because of this most of my cat charries are warriors. Cai would be one of the first cat charries of mine to be a "kittypet" and not be a clan warrior.
Personality: Cai is very playful and friendly, especially around her owners. She loves to roll over and have her belly rubbed. She is calm and quiet and not the slightest bit aggressive. She loves to purr and rib against her owner's leg. She lives with a family- a mom, dad, and twin 5 year old boys. The boys are named Michael and David, and they are sweet and love to play with Cai. Michael knows to pet her gently, but David sometimes is a bit rougher, though unintentionally. When this happens, she simply meows and pulls away. She knows not to scratch the boys because they are young, and she values them like she would her own kits. She thinks of them as almost her kits, because she feels that she cares for them and keeps them safe like a mother.
Cai loves the outdoors, but never travels farther than her owners' lawn. They have a hammock, and she can often be found lying on it. She loves the sun and sometimes spends a good part of the day outside, just lying in it. The family lives in a nice-sized house, and she loves to run through the rooms, sometimes chased by Michael or David. They are never able to catch her, as she can run under tables and beds, but when she sees they have tired out, she stops and rubs against their legs, as if to say, "I don't care if you didn't catch me. I still love you." This makes the five year olds very happy, as they laugh and pet her lovingly.
Cai is very calm and motherlike. She is always gentle with the children.
History: Cai's mother was owned by a breeder, and she was born in the breeder's house. Her mother was a brown she-cat with a green circle around one eye. Her name was Kilia, and she was one of the breeder's most beloved cats. The breeder decided that he wanted to keep one of Kilia's kittens, so he observed them carefully for the first few weeks of their lives. He eventually decided to keep one of Cai's brothers, named Hinam. Hinam was adventurous and strong, so the breeder knew he would produce nice offspring. Hinam was a brown cat with green stripes on his tail. Cai had, in total, two brothers and two sisters. Cai was not the runt, but she was not the strongest. She dreamed of living with a family that would care for her and love her.
The family adopted Cai from the breeder. The woman who adopted Cai had had twins babies with her, each about two years old. It had been the mom who had ultimately made the decision on which kitten to get, but Michael and David were drawn to Cai. She was the only kitten who would not run from their pudgy baby hands, and their parent knew that they needed a kitten that would do well with the boys. When the mom and dad picked up Cai, she lay in their arms like a baby and purred. They knew that she was the kitten for them.
Cai did not go home with the family for a little while, for she still needed to be nursed by her mother. Cai, a young kit at the time, did not really understand what was happening. She was a bit scared about living with the new family. Kilia comforted her kit, licking her head and telling her how great her new family would be.
Cai went home with Michael, David, and their parents a few months later. Both boys pet her gently, and she purred for them. she was already beginning to like them. She was given food, water, a litter box, and a nice, comfy bed to sleep on. However, the first night in her new home, she ended up sleeping on Michael's pillow. She could tell the young boy liked it because he was smiling when he fell asleep. The next night, Cai climbed to the top bunk to sleep with David, though she figured out later that she did prefer to sleep with Michael. David snored lightly in his sleep. She did eventually get completely used to living with the family. She loved going outside and sleeping on the hammock.
Cai grew up as Michael and David grew up. Now, they are in second grade. Cai is a bit older, and possibly ready to have kittens. Michael and David never spend any less time with her than they used to, though. They still play with her every day and never forget through their busy lives about their cat.
Other: I hope I win Cai. She is an amazing looking cat, and I would be proud to have her on my charries thread.

I'm gonna try again this code drop. I have added more. I'll maybe add even more later.
My lights are OFF!
I walked across
An empty land,
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth
Beneath my feet,
Sat by the river and it made me complete
Oh, simple thing
Where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when
You're gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin
