HollowedAngel, oh gosh... We shouldn't even be talking about improvement on a two years basis, it's embarassing. This is something I drew two years ago. Hard to believe but I shortly after ran a successful art shop.

Applefiend, I'm a fan of the cusion smili, so parhaps I'll make one. for the lulz if none else. About the cub lineart, I didn't plan on changing it, but seing how old it is perhaps I should^^'.

PolarAzulTigris, long time no see^^. I didn't know you stalked my smili thread, you sneaky kitty. <3
Thank you very much for all those nice things you said, I'm very glad if smili appeal to you. I'm really not very good with cats, so I'm not too sure about the grace, but I do enjoy mawahawks, bristles and manes of all kinds and flavours^^.
Glad to see you around by the way, enjoy your coffee^^.

Lirrie, that lineart is just to cute, I love it heaps. The colouring looks really grand as well, the contrasts are clear and that yellowish hue is just such a nice and clean colour. Gorgeous.

Actually it's not too hard to become successful on CS :/
You just have to have very clean looking lines really and a fairly decent style =P

However, your one of the most saught after artists now <3 Congrats on that btw :3

But I admire you most for how you do your art digitally...:/ I cant draw digitally for some reason...
possibly because I very rarely ever try to draw.
But in RL my style actually looks very much like TheWolfsGirl90's :)
Only she has a few muscles in here and there, but still, Im not half
bad if I do say so myself xD

[I just realized that I've never posted here even though I've been stalking this for months. D:]

Buy, anyway, I love the new lineart, it's so very dynamic! <3 [I really like that you can see the entire face, too, instead of just the side. ~]

Also, as you stated under the 'physical appearance' section that young and small Smili can use their tails to hang from trees; does that mean that said appendages are prehensile? c:

Red October, welcome out in the open of the smili thread^^.
About the tails, I suppose they can be used for that. The tails are very strong and can be used for keeping balance, to frigthen foes, to use for haningin in, or perhaps even to smack others with. But it isn't very exact or delicate and it's in no way a substitute for a hand. For example a smili couldn't pick up a small object using it's tail, but perhaps it could be used to drag a dead deer behind it on it's way home.

That new lineart is gorgeous, Spotty.

Also, if Kam's around, I need to know what exactly should be done about the Orange cub. Not sure if that was ever settled. And I really do love it. So it deserves the best possible outcome it can get.

Ahaha, thank you. ~ ^^
That is really quite awesome; I find prehensile tails to be absolutely fascinating.
[And, wow, I hadn't expected their tails to be that strong. :D]

Also, [I apologize if this was already answered, I hadn't seen anything about it on the front page] are Smili diurnal or nocturnal? [Or crepuscular, or cathemeral, or any others that I can't recall at the moment? xD]

[I hope that questions are okay; I just love learning about species like these; ones with detailed species standards and set behavioral traits. These are such interesting creatures. ^^]
