What's this? A creature also crawled out of the bushes.

"Despite never getting to celebrate Sweetenween, the Sweeten loved the holiday more than any other. They dressed up in costumes whenever the owner wasn't around. They loved telling spooky stories to their friends. They adored playing silly tricks. Every day, they longed for the day they could finally celebrate it themself. It never came.

One day, the Sweeten got desperate. They snuck out, wanting to go trick-or-sweeting by themself. Unfortunately, to avoid as much detail as possible, the worst happened. The Sweeten became a ghost...

"Why am I telling you this? You'll find out soon enough. I heard some Sweeten kittens went missing and you're trying to free them. So, while I don't have any candy, I'll join you and help you look."

thank you!! I love this sweeten tbh, I'm going to dress it up asap! also, no. I only have one, although I have collected two.. i gifted alt my first candy! I'm really happy to have gotten a halloween sweeten, so thank you for that!! ^^

"Even still, the ghost Sweeten tried to trick-or-sweet. Unfortunately, with their ghostly appearance, people assumed they were only trying to scare them, and thus shut the door in their face. Year after year they tried, to no avail. Slowly, they grew bitter and resentful, and one day they decided--if they couldn't go trick-or-sweeting, why should anyone else? And if people assumed they were an evil ghost based on their appearance, why bother trying to be anything else?

We warned against it, yet the ghost Sweeten persisted with their plan. They declared they'd ruin the fun of Sweetenween for everyone. They'd lock up Sweeten treaters during the duration of the holiday and demand a ransom, taking the fun out of the candy-hunting. We distanced ourselves after that, as it was an evil plan we could not support.

Despite this, maybe there is still good in that Sweeten's heart. Maybe if someone showed them kindness, and took them trick-or-sweeting... perhaps it could give them a change of heart?

Maybe when the last treater is freed, someone should quote the post and ask the ghost if they'd like to go trick-or-sweeting."
