The Week Of Halloween

Akimara and Kaiba love Halloween and have been setting up for Halloween ever since September 26th. Everything seemed perfect. Every decoration was carefully placed, every scare tested at least 20 times, all the candy was bought and ready, and they scheduled a time to pick up Kora and Kani. They even asked (-cough- begged -cough-) someone to stay on house watch duty, who just so happened to accept! So, what did they miss? What did they forget? They forgot the costumes. Neither had even considered costumes, and they were also asked by Kora and Kani to pick out costumes for each of them. Akimara and Kaiba then began to make a list of all possible costume ideas such as ghosts, witches, and royalty, but none of them seemed to click. Days passed by and soon it was only 2 days before Halloween day. They needed to find an idea and get the costumes ready. So far they had crossed out Angels, demons, ghosts, witches, royalty, other animals, mythologys, and zombies. “I have another idea!” Akimara suddenly shouted. Kaiba looked over at the smaller Lykaio with a look suggesting he thought the idea would be like the others. “We could try being Demon Slayer characters! We could be like Nezuko and Tanjirou! Wait, no I mean the squad!” Kaiba thought about this for a moment before responding. “Sure! I still have the cosplay stuff from when we tried cosplaying a few months ago.” Kaiba then left to go grab it. Akimara took this time to phone Kani and Kora to tell them their plan for Halloween costumes. Akimara would be Nezuko again, Kora decided to be Kanao, Kani would be Zenitsu, and Kaiba would be Tanjirou.

On Halloween day, Akimara and Kaiba arrived a bit earlier so everyone could get their costumes on. When everyone was ready, Kani handed out candy buckets. Each bucket already had 2 pieces of candy in them. Akimara, Kaiba, and Kora thanked Kani for the buckets and candy. Once the buckets were given, everyone headed out. They were planning to stay out for a few hours, or when someone's bucket was filled to the brim. Now, in total, they went to about 53 homes, so I can’t tell you all of the bits and pieces of this Halloween trick or treating adventure, but here are some fun parts!

“Trick or treat!” Everyone said as a lykaio dressed up as a witch opened the door. The witch then noticed what they were wearing. “Oh my heavens!” They began, “What cute costumes you have!”
“Thank you miss!” Akimara exclaimed. The witch costume lykaio gave them some candy and said their goodbye. The friends said thank you for the candy and bye.

“Boo!” A white, grey, and red lykaio shouted as they jumped out from behind a rock. Akimara screamed and ran behind Kaiba while the others just jumped. “Haha!” The lykaio, Kelp laughed out loud. “Sorry for scaring you so much Akimara, here take some candy. All of you!” Kelp continued as he took out a Halloween themed bowl filled with candy. “It’s alright, Kelp, thank you for the candy!” Akimara replied as she took a few pieces of candy from the bowl. “Thanks Kelp!” Kaiba said as he took a few too.
“Yes, than-”
“Kelp, where are you!” Fern exclaimed from farther away, interrupting Kora.
“I’m over here mum!” Kelp shouted. “Anyway, here, Kora, Kani take your candies!” Kani took 6 candies and gave half of them to Kora. “Thank you Kelp, but I think you should go see your mother now.” Kani said.
“Alright I will, bye then everyone!” Kelp shouted as he started to swim away.
“Bye Kelp!” They all replied.

In the end, they had a lot of fun. Everyone managed to fit 174 candies in their buckets. This year was definitely their most successful year as they managed to get 32 more and hand out 68 more candies than last year. They all agreed to have a sleepover instead of just walking Kani and Kora back to their house.




This took me way too much time to finish. To be exact, I started this on October 10th. I had no reason to take this long.

Thank you! I would attempt to draw them in their costumes myself, but I can't draw to save my life. The best I could do is and angel costume or something. Maybe a clown?
