★ Deori (Deo)
A hermaphrodite deer x fox x gryphon x horse.

Deori are a medium-sized hybrid. Deori have the
head of a fox, the height and structure of a deer,
gryphon talons, and the mane and tail of a horse.
While Deori may have wings, they are unable to
fly. They tend to use their wings to attract a mate,
adorning them with colors made from mashed berries,
pretty objects, and gems.

Deori usually live in tropical climates where there's
a fresh source of water, beautiful foliage, and all
the fruits, vegetables, roots, bark, and insects they
need for their diets. Though Deori prefer tropical
environments like rainforests and forest oasis, they
will learn to adapt as long as they can find the food
and shelter to survive.

Many Deori live in herds with tribal markings to
symbolize their rank among their herd. They use
berries that they forage for and don't eat, meaning
many of the markings can come in various colors.
Deori will also gather gems from dragon's hoards
to adorn on themselves, showing their status and
using them as a way to attract a potential partner.

Deori usually mate for life, mating about 4-6 times
before they can no longer breed. Finding a mate,
Deori will exchange three feathers to each other to
put in their manes - similar to how humans wear
wedding rings.

Why is Deori being taken off Oekaki?
I figured it was time for a change. I have a
really hard time using the Oekaki in general,
so I thought 'hey, this could work.'

How will litters work/Are litters themed?
Currently, litters will not be themed, but
I hope to set up a schedule of themed litters
once I settle back into working on pixel
art. c:

Will litters always be free?
Yes! All litters will be free and raffled off
at the end of the week (that's the goal, anyway.)

Could my Deori become my fursona?
Sure! You can use the design with the artists
permission, so please be sure to ask them
before you go through with it!

Could I use [character ref] for a custom design?
No. I won't allow any Deori to be made after
a character, whether it's your own OC, from an
anime, cartoon, game, etc.

Adoption Rules

★ All litters are raffles, which means this is not a first come, first serve.
★ If there's multiple litters up, you can enter for both litters.
★ You can enter for as many Deori from the litters as you want, but you'll only be able to win one per litter.
★ Do not guilt-trip if you don't win the Deori you wanted, there's always a chance for next time.
★ Artists are allowed to keep one Deori for themselves once every 3 litters made.

The pound is a place where Deori can be adopted! These deo might be from a previous litter who didn't get adopted out from the raffle, from an user who has too many extra and want to give others a chance to grab 'em, as well as deo who are being rehomed due to an user being banned.

Deos who are donated to the pound with names will have their names listed underneath them - this doesn't mean you have to keep the name! You can choose their new name and pronouns when you adopt them!

Anyone can adopt from the pound, but there is a cooldown time of 3 days between adopting again.

mutate into either a specific, null,
mutation, offspring, or fertility
potion upon use.

Hooves Stone

Using this stone on your Deori
will give them hooves. If they
have no leg mutation/back
hooves, they will automatically
get front hooves. If they have
mutations, you can choose
whether it is the back, front,
or both sets of legs.

Got a token you'd like to trade in? You can do
so here! There's a few things you should know
before filling out the form, so I'll list the rules
and guidelines for customs here.

1. These are FCFS, but I will decline forms if
they are not properly filled out, or if they
break the customs' rules.

2. Please be sure to fill your form out fully,
I won't accept edited forms and you'll have
to wait until customs open again.

3. Characters are not allowed - neither
copyrighted or OCs. Any copyrighted
character breaks CS' rules, and if
a user gets banned, their Deo's go to
the pound to be re-adopted.

4. If you'd like to use any store edits
or mutation stones, you may use them
with the form to add on more traits.

Earning berries

Adopting
Every new adopter, after winning their first Deori, will
get 100 berries! Each additional raffle win will earn
them 25 berries.

Events
Some events will have games that you can participate
in to earn berries, there will usually be multiple games
where you can earn berries, items, and feathers.

Other
You can earn berries by foraging, doing missions, trading,
and participating in the discord by helping improve Deori
and suggesting items to be made!

Earning feathers

Foraging and Events
At this time, the only way to earn feathers in by
foraging and participating in missions and events!
Since feathers are a more premium currency, they
are usually harder to get, but RNG might rule in
your favor!

Discord

Discord Features
Joining the discord means sneak previews to
traits being added to the species, there will
also be free items to obtain from helping the
community.

There will also be chances to win lore-based
Deori, which won't ever become available
during CS thread events or raffles, as well
as random Deos that I just never finished
litters for!

If someone is found breaking the rules, depending on the severity, they may be issued either a warning or a ban.
Warnings will expire in 3 months after the initial day of being warned. However, three warnings and the user will be banned.
Banned users will have their Deori rehomed, and will be unable to interact with the Deori species ever again.
