welcome to the pokepark! you, a new or experienced trainer, have been invited to a fabled park hidden away from prying eyes; only those who receive an invitation are able to go. upon arriving, you are gifted your very own starter, and are able to explore the park for as long as you like, ready to hunt down rare and elusive pokemon that you don't normally find in your region. your life outide of the park is completely your own; maybe you are a trainer from kanto taking on gym challenges, a beauty contestant from sinnoh, or maybe even a secret member of team flare from kalos? the choice is yours!

the grand opening event is currently up and running! try out for adopts, apply for moderator, and visit rascal's storage to get some oran berries in your bank account! this event will run until september 28 :)

- all chickensmoothie site rules apply; you can find them here

- you may not sell any designs from pokepark, to comply with cs rules

- please be kind and respectful to all members of staff, and all members of the community; hateful comments, harassment, and bullying of any sort will not be tolerated, and may result in further action (warnings/bans)

- you may have at maximum 2 trainers, but you have no limits on the amount of pokemon you can have!

- you must create an archive for your pokemon within one month of receiving your starter, or they will be readopted

- i do not own pokemon, and i'm certainly not going to stop anyone from making pokemon ocs, but you may not make pokemon for use in the pokepark arpg without a myo ticket

- your account must be at least 2 months old, and you must have made at least 75 posts to post a starter form; this is to ensure some form of activity, and not have our artists work on free starters for people to immediately abandon them
--- you may participate in adopts and events without meeting the account req!

- if you do not own a pokemon, you may only try out for or design basic pokemon
--- a basic pokemon is the first stage of evolution, including pokemon that do not have any evolutions (example, you may try for a caterpie, but not a butterfree; you may try for a druddigon, but not a ninetales)
--- for the sake of this arpg, legendary/mythical pokemon are not considered basic
--- after recieving your first pokemon (whether it be through adopt, myo, custom, or free starter), all pokemon are available to adopt!

- simply put, fill out the below form, and an artist will put down a claim on it; after it is claimed, the artist will design you your own starter pokemon! please do not rush your artist, as all pokemon are custom drawn and that can take a while!

- starter pokemon in the pokepark arpg are the same starters you would find in base games, including pichu and eevee! however, you may not choose which you get, as it is a surprise! if you don't like your starter, you may request that they are readopted

- you may request which type of starter you want, between fire, water, and grass; no matter your choice, you will still have a very small chance at rolling pichu or eevee! requesting a type will increase the odds of rolling for one of these two

- you may also ask for a maximum of two minor traits (including tinting), and any standard traits; please keep in mind that the artists may not feel comfortable with excessive edits/items, and it is up to the artist whether or not they add your request(s) to the pokemon

- after you post your form, you will receive two pokemon to choose from; you must choose one or the other before an artist will design them for you (this can be done by replying to the artist's post, or posting in the discord channel)

- you will not be given a trainer reference, nor do you have to make one; a name will suffice for archiving purposes (and a small blurb for development), but feel free to give them a design!

- you may claim your starter at any time, even if you've won/designed a pokemon before!

- to find your id, check the end of your cs profile's url; this must be added for archiving purposes!
