But also- I have just notice this as well, I have seen Diamond Encrusted armor (Gauntlets specifically) around more lately- I don't know why but I kind of found that a little weird lol.

Whenever they get bored of it, I guess. I doubt AJHQ will do anything to stop it at this point. The most they'll do is unban the accounts that were banned because of it. I don't imagine they'll be giving any items back to people who lost them because of the hack or anything either.

Aj got hacked again yikes

I just heard about that when I came online today for the second time. Most of the jammers recommended that we should turn off our trades and gifting- which I did do- but I don't know how much help that would be.

But all in all, I'm just vibing in my den and drawing at the moment. I don't use the art program anymore on aj so I'm jut using mine- drawing a few of my current friends on aj:) (for free obvi as there is no way for them to see it). I just need some practice and I figured why not draw my animal and a part of my den ;')

It almost seems like an inevitability at this point that AJ is going to be hacked at least once a year. I just don't understand it, why are they wasting their time on a kids' game? What do they gain from this? This game is old and tired, there's hardly anything left of value anyway. I'll never understand it I guess, if I was a hacker I would spend my time on bigger, better things than messing with an old internet game. I dunno, maybe they've got some kind of vendetta against it? Maybe they used to play the game and something happened so now they feel like they need revenge.

It could be for exposure or money, and likely is, but who really knows? I just hope AJHQ will actually take this seriously and up their security instead of dragging their feet like they have every other time this or similar has happened. Everyone knows they make a lot of money off of this game even now, so it's not like they can't afford it.

In lighter news, I'm pretty happy! I was excited to know that Alpha Swords and Alpha Helmets were coming to PW, but I was worried I wouldn't get the original color and would have to overpay to get it because we all know everyone will value the default color higher automatically. Well, I logged into my main and unfortunately didn't get the blue one, I got the purple one. I just so happened to have some spare money at the time, so I bought membership on one of my spares just to see if I could get the blue color that way. Lo and behold, I log in and the box pops up with the default blue color! Fast forward to today, I log in hoping to get the blue helmet, only to be let down by an orange one. So, I hop onto my spare, and yet again there it is, the default blue! I swear my spare account must be blessed by the RNG gods or something.

I agree @Clock! Maybe something DID happen so they feel like taking revenge. (Example: a pet they never wanted in the game came out) I completely understand why people scam and hack, it's just so they can get rich or something. I don't want to get hacked so normally I just roleplay or trade for pets. Currently this thread is really confusing me, therefore I will try not to reply in discussions too much.

Many of you have asked about some erroneous account bans that were issued Monday night and rumors about an attack on Jambassador AJ accounts. A group of around 70 influencer and WildWorks employee Animal Jam accounts were attacked on Monday. The individual responsible was able to switch the parental email addresses for these accounts and temporarily gain control of them. Our system suspended the affected accounts for their protection, but inadvertently suspended some unaffected accounts as well.
We know which accounts were taken over, and we are restoring all of them to their rightful owners, along with all of the items they previously held. Also, accounts that were mistakenly suspended or banned during our response to the attack will have their access restored. No personal information of account owners was accessed in the attack, but a detailed digital forensics report is being submitted to our law enforcement partners in the U.S. and the criminal’s country of origin.
If you believe your account may have been mistakenly suspended Monday night, please report this directly to our support team (Linked Below), and include your username, your parent email address, and the last time you accessed your account. PLEASE DO NOT submit this information in comments or DMs here!
Player accounts are in no further danger from this attack, and we will be making announcements about some new security features soon for everyone’s protection. We’re very sorry for the stress attacks like this cause the player community, and we’re working nonstop to get the affected Jammers back in the game as quickly as possible.

So it sounds like the danger is over. I'm looking forward to seeing these "new security features" and hope that they'll actually be effective.
