I'm not a staff of this species but it's highly likely that they're closed! The owner hasn't been on since September 18. ^^;

I'm not staff either, but I just wanted to update new posters that the owner does indeed seem to be inactive. (Now it says they last logged in sometime in March, probably for CS Easter if I had to make a guess.)

Archivist here. It's not really my place to be saying if the species is closed or not, but the majority of mods and higher up staff appear to be inactive on CS entirely, and while artists have been active it's just on cs and not on the volux species.

For context - RosslynRouge hasn't been on since march, sylvexi hasn't posted anywhere visibly since march, ★Rockstar★ simply doesn't have an account anymore and P H I L hasn't been on since 2020. That's all the mods to my knowledge. The discord is also largely dead.

It's probably time to lay the thread to rest, although I'll see what I can do with contacting other staff, the future of the species, making sure everyone has their volux etc first before making any calls, as again I'm only the archivist here aha. <3 This could just be a really long, unplanned hiatus for all we know.

Oh and any artists who have an idea on what's going on, please do chip in!

I’ve been seeing this species around a few times, and I think I’m finally going to leave a mark here.

I’d love to see this species return eventually, it’s one of my favorite pixel pet species and it’s a shame it’s gone inactive! If I can ever offer my services as an artist (or guest artist), in an attempt to revive this species, just let me know and I’ll fill out the application form.

Also, if anyone is interested in trading their Volux, please contact me. I’m not sure if you’re even allowed to trade these? I’m very sorry for misunderstanding if it’s not allowed. But if it is, I have many different things to offer, just message me!
