For those who are unfamiliar with the work Arkinhallow, Venatici and I have been doing, we have been spending the past couple of months working on entirely revamping the Baltic Husky and Baltic Reindeer species. Together these species make up the Baltic Sled Association, a CS-ARPG hosted on Oekaki and on it's own website.
We are still currently closed, but are going to be opening soon and releasing all of the new work! : ) This artist search is looking for artists who would be willing to join the staff team in preparation for the opening!
In terms of Baltic Huskies, they are the more "ARPG" part of the group with a lot more ARPG elements. Baltic Huskies have a primary focus on realism, on showing, and on genetics, while Baltic Reindeer are for users who do not have as much time or energy to dedicate to Baltic Huskies (or for those who just prefer reindeer and non-realism!).
Artists are not required to know genetics for Baltic Huskies- each husky must have them, but if an artist does not know how to make genotypes/phenotypes will be provided! Artists will be trained in learning the genes if they so wish, otherwise admins will continue to provide the genetics for the designs!
As staff for Baltic Huskies, you would also have a joint position at Baltic Reindeer if you so wish! Please note that there are no monthly requirements for activity, but that putting more effort will end up in better benefits!
The types of positions are:
- Main Artist - Does main adopts, customs, founders, and nursery - can choose to do all or only one!
Ghost Artist - Similar to full artist, except is more inactive; preferred if wanting to contribute to the species but not available for weekly designs. This guarantees your spot on the team if you become inactive, but you may have to work longer for rewards such as customs!
Rules
Please keep these designs as entries only and keep the "fake" sign on them - only color them in if you wish to apply!
Realistic designs only - either use picture references or genotypes (if you know them) for your design
You may make realistic line edits (ears, fur, items, etc): the actual lines have more types of ears/fur/tails than what is presented here! The lines given have the "base" BH setup, meaning the most standard, but feel free to show off your editing skills!
You may make any number of designs, but I am more interested in quality over quantity!
Please note that all staff should have an interest in the community as well: and be interested in fostering a positive environment! If you are not comfortable with diversity (different religions, sexualities, genders, etc) then this position might not be the best for you.
