Spotty wrote:-I'm going to have to change adoption center if I am to adopt out any new smili. This means I should probably PM my top candidates and see if they are prepared to read through all the info here, and also judge forms posted with that in mind. TaN was amazing for that reason, they never accepted forms that didn't respect the smili info enough. <3 Sadly, TaN is now inactive and their owners don't have time. I'm concidering PaH since they seem to be operaing nicely, but I don't know what standards they have for made up species.-

azalea, thank you^^.

Veggie, of course, Bone was always one of my favourites^^'.

Yeah, TaN has pretty much died a peaceful death, I think - most likely it'll be shutting down completely soon. :C Pound of Hope does look good, although I'm not sure on how they deal with created species that have their own specific requirements. If you want to try making your own adoption thread for the smilis though, I'd be happy to help out. :3 I always liked judging for the smilis and it probably wouldn't take up too much time, especially if there were a few others doing judging or other stuff. That way you can be sure of how the adoptions will be handled, since it'll be your own thread, and I'm sure you'd get plenty of volunteers to help run it. X3

The new lines are adorable - the smili looks very northern with the extra cheek fluff, rather like a bobcat. ^^

That you everyone^^.

Atwood, that's why I thought it safer to have a chat with the PoH owners before I made up my mind^^. As fas as I know, most special species threads handle their own adoptions right in the thread. I've never been quite intrested in reading forms and I'm not very good at judging if a story is good or not. I'd, rather bluntly, be a terrible judge myself. I could of course hire a staff to handle it for me, but I still feel it'd be fuzzy. That's why I like adoption centers. They do all the tricky parts for me, they even hire their own staff^^. If I find that the active centers on CS isn't prepared to handle the extra work it would cause to take in smili, then I'll concider putting up my own adoptions. With my own staff. The Smili Judging Crew, lol.
(I miss TaN, it was awesome.)

About the fluff, you are very much correct. It does match the oiginal smili habitat much better^^.

The new smili lineart looks adorable! <33 It's so fluffy 8D And I think the cheek fluff matches the habitat perfectly. :3

Another take on the smili lineart. Face and tail are the same as last time, the rest is new. Appart from the really scrawny chest it's got I like it a lot better than the last one.

I like the pose actually. This one seems better as a ref as we can see the paw colour c:

Both of the linearts are so awesome D:
But like Tennis said, people might prefer this one as a ref since you can see the paw colour. ;o

True. But for ref purposes I've always prefered standing up poses. In the above version you can't see anything of the lower legs.

Ah, that there looks like the perfect ref, including legs and paw colours. I do like all of them but this is my favourite <3 The pose is just wonderful.

sorry if this has been asked, I've stalked Smilis only in the Toughs as Nails ^_^

That lineart revamp is amazing! I can't wait to see it finished, colored and shaded! *drools over new Smili markings*
so here's the question, will you be also revampying the Smili cub lineart?
