SilentEcho, they are exagerated yes. I'm revamping the species slightly and I thought they'd might need more fluff. That's because much of their social interactions is dependent on their face markings, so the more are their face has to put markings on, the better^^. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet, I might go back to sleaker cheeks.

Veggie, aw, thank you^^. It does kinda look like how I imagened Bone too. Funny. If I finish the lineart I should colour it in for you. I also imagened smili to look rather mean and I thought that bigger tusk-like fangs could do the trick^^.

-I'm going to have to change adoption center if I am to adopt out any new smili. This means I should probably PM my top candidates and see if they are prepared to read through all the info here, and also judge forms posted with that in mind. TaN was amazing for that reason, they never accepted forms that didn't respect the smili info enough. <3 Sadly, TaN is now inactive and their owners don't have time. I'm concidering PaH since they seem to be operaing nicely, but I don't know what standards they have for made up species.-

Oh wow, I love the new lineart!
I think the tufts look good, isn't there a kind of bird that puffs out the sides of its face for similar reasons? I think extra fluffy fur is more attractive. XD <3

I think this new lineart looks amazing 8D I really like the big fangs because they do look awesome. Can't wait to see new designs in these lines.
