Welcome to the imports page! Here you can design your own Galloway and get it registered. Imports are currently OPEN.

Before you make a Galloway, please check the front page
for information on the breed standard and the rules!

Anyone can import their own Galloway here. Designs must be approved by staff before they can be registered, at which point they will be numbered, added to the archive, and can be bred. If you would like your galloway to have a genotype but do not know equine genetics, staff can assign one for you and/or explain what genotypes are possible for the coat you picked.

When making your Galloway, use the following form. You can include more information, such as age, eye colour, or relations if you want! Registration number will be given by staff, so keep that blank :)

Rules (in addition to rules on the front page!)
Be courteous and polite to staff if they deny your design. Feedback will always be given so you can elect to bring it more in-line with the breed standard, but rudeness towards staff when feedback is given will not be tolerated.
Designs should be natural and reasonably realistic - no unnatural colours or markings (e.g. neon green, zebra stripes). This includes eye colours: eyes should be brown (on majority of base colours), amber (on creams only), or blue (on double creams or with white markings only).
Line and background edits are not permitted.
You may make as many designs as you like.
You may make horses that are related to other Australian Galloways, provided the relatives are registered. This includes siblings, parents, foals etc.
You may make foal designs, however you will need to make an adult reference if you would like to breed them.
If you edit a design you made, please apply for re-inspection to make sure it still fits the registration standard.
You may not use these lines to make your own non-Galloway designs, to sell designs, or for any other purpose than to create a Galloway.
You may design a Galloway for someone else, but it must be free/a gift.
If you make a design that is denied, you can change it to fit the breed standard and reapply. You can transfer the original denied design out of Galloways and use it elsewhere if you want, but you cannot call that design a Galloway or use the lines in that case.

If you change your Galloways design after approval, or your design was denied and you want it to be assessed again, you can use the following form. Post it to this thread.
