Ongoing event: Come back later...
Roseto Capo Warmbloods are a relatively new horse breed with the Iberian Warmblood, Andalusian, Lusitano and Spanish Mustang making up its bloodline. Founded by two horses specially imported from Spain to Italy, the breed was founded in the beautiful town of Roseto Capo and has quickly made its way across the globe. They have a standard height range of 15hh to 17.2hh, though select few may be shorter or taller.
RCWs excel in dressage and are rarely bought for any other use. With large, expressive movements paired with the ability to collect and shorten, these horses are ideal for the dressage arena. Short backs and strong quarters allow for powerful, flowing gaits that have a good natural rhythm. These horses are very carefully bred in order to retain their quality and natural talent.

GENERAL RULES wrote:─ CS rules always apply
─ Be respectful and kind to staff and community members at all times. Guilt-tripping and being rude or argumentative is not acceptable behavior
─ The old bloodline, known as the Avolire Horse, are all still valid and able to be used in competitions, breeding, and events
─ Roseto Capo Warmbloods that are obtained for free cannot be sold for any type of currency. They can be gifted for free, or traded for other RCWs
─ If you are trading/gifting a horse, both the new and old owners must post on the horse's page confirming the transfer. Additionally, the new owner should contact the archivist to inform them of the change
─ As a closed species, creating your own RCW is not permitted. Changing the coat design, color, or adding things to an RCW you own is also not allowed without the original designer's explicit permission
─ You cannot claim designs that you do not own. Likewise, plagiarizing backstories or personalities is not permitted
─ RCWs can be taken offsite. Websites like Weebly, Toyhouse, Wix, or custom websites are permitted for character storage
─ Event-specific markings are exclusive to their corresponding events. Event markings can only be obtained via event adopt, breeding RCWs (resulting in event markings getting passed), particular items, and through imports ordered during the span of the event
STAFF HANDBOOK wrote:─ Staff perks include but are not limited to, receiving payment on adopts/imports/breedings (cS, USD, pets, etc), 2 personal imports per month, free items, and more!
─ As far as event imports go, they do not count towards the 2 import per month limit. There are no limitations on personal imports such as markings/line edits/accessories, etc. Personal imports must however, be posted on the corresponding months, any date is fine. For example, if you are creating a February import then the horse must be posted anywhere from Feb 1-Feb 28th
─ Personal breedings are allowed of course, with a preference that a screenshot is provided and sent to a myself, kaju, or in the dedicated discord staff channel
RCWs have 6 breeding slots total
Foals grow into adults 7 days from their posted date
RNG stats for adopts: 1-5
RNG stats for imports: 3-10
Stats for breedings are averaged out from both parents
Average height chart, hands go in increments of .3
15hh - 15.1hh - 15.2hh - 15.3hh
16hh - 16.1hh - 16.2hh - 16.3hh
17hh - 17.1hh - 17.2hh
--------ROLLING FOR BREEDING
- Roll chance of twins (10%)
1a. If twins, roll chance of chimeric (15%) - If parent(s) are chimeric, roll an additional 20% chance of chimeric.
2a. If you rolled twins earlier they cannot be chimeric. They are to be fused together. - For all genes with alleles (e.g. Ee, Crcr etc.) roll chances using either a breeding calculator or random number generator (1-4) with punnet squares
- Roll chance of passing any non-genetic traits. Pass rates are below.
4a. If a trait/gene/marking on a horse hasn't been listed anywhere/doesn't have a clear pass rate, please ask me about it, and we'll sort it out before you post the breeding - Roll chance of somatic (5%)
- If appaloosa, roll chance of mismark (10%)
EYE COLORS: Natural colors such as shades of brown, blue, orange/yellow, green are most commonly seen
Unnatural colors such as shades of pink, purple, red, etc are significantly less common, and should be kept only on the occasional adopt, milestone adopt, auction horse, foals (if parent(s) have unnatural eye colors) or some imports. Blindness can be expressed by a pale white/cream color. Keep in mind blindness will not pass to offspring
Heterochromia is permitted within the species and there are three different types, as seen below
1. Sectoral: two different portions of colors within the iris
2. Central: creates a ring around the pupil that is a different color
3. Complete: one whole eye is a different color than the other
SKIN: Skin is primarily more visible on the muzzle, flank and around the eyes of a horse
Black, bay, chestnut primarily have black/dark grey skin
Some lighter dilutions such as cremello will have pale/muted pink skin
White facial markings create pink skin also
Common traits pass 40% of the time
Uncommon pass 25% of the time
Breed specific pass 15% of the time
Rare pass 10% of the time
Limited pass 5% of the time

Colour Rarities
“Limited” patternings may only be obtained via milestone adopt, limited import, or through a slim chance when breeding. Otherwise, the rarities below are just here to note which patternings and dilutions are most common, and artists do not have to strictly follow them.
All breed-specific markings, found on our visual coat guide, are uncommon and below unless otherwise specified
Common: Chestnut, Black, Bay, Flaxen, Sooty, Grey, Seal, Roan, Tobiano, Grease spots, Overo
Uncommon: Champagne, Pearl, Single Cream, Silver, Gulastra Plume, Pangare, Dun/Psuedo-dun, Appaloosa, Birdcatcher Spots, Tovero, Splash, Rabicano
Rare: Double Cream, Dominant White, Mushroom, Sabino, Pintaloosa
Limited: Manchado, Lacing, Reverse Dapples, Somatic, Skewed Roan ''Brindle'', Chimerism, Mosaicism, Vitiligo, Calico Tobiano

Stats
Some competitions will rely on the stats of your horse. Each adopt will be given randomly generated base stats: 0 being poor, and 10 being perfect.
Adopts will range from 1-5
Imports will have slightly higher stats than regular adopted horses, ranging anywhere from 3-10
Breedings will have stats based on a result of both parents stats being averaged out
Competitions can increase stats even further, and 50 is currently the "cap" for all stats
These are the following stats:
Strength
Stamina
Rhythm
Expression
