☀ Sweetens ☀NEW THREAD PG. 824

Okay, after some extensive thought, it's time to announce the moderators.

This was a pretty tough decision to make, and keep in mind that all the applications I got looked very promising! But I only planned to hire two mods, so unfortunately I couldn't hire everyone and had to choose the two apps. I liked the best.

With that out of the way, I'm happy to welcome Legendary Shaman and FishyRoyals to the Sweetens team! Congratulations! I think you'll both do a great job, and you'll be contacted shortly after this post.

Besides that, I've got two more announcements to make:

1. Because we now have mods on the team, I'm adding a new rule, which is no mini-modding. This means telling people they're breaking the rules or answering certain questions (i.e., how do I adopt a Sweeten?, can I do so and so or is that not allowed?), as this takes away from the mods' jobs. The exception to this is if the question involves the artists in some way (i.e. <artist>, do you think you can do a custom like <blank>) in which the artists can answer that question.

2. Once I finish my current customs, I'm going to be taking a break from actually making Sweetens myself for a little while, to focus on my artwork. I recently recovered from a nasty art block (Sweetens helped!) and need to practice to get my art back in shape for when I open commissions in the future. I'll still be around to update the front page and give you litters the artists have put out, answer questions, etc. but until I'm satisfied of where my art is, I'm either going to stop making them altogether until further notice (which shouldn't be too long! most likely a week or two?) or put them out at a much slower rate, depending on how I feel.

weird unrelated questions:
if someone trades you a sweeten, or if you give a sweeten to the shelter, do they keep the items? like bows etc.
can sweetens distantly related breed? or absolutely is absolutely no breeding allowed in bloodlines?

1. They do keep the items!
2. That's a bit of a tough question, and it's hard to say. For now I'll say Sweetens can't breed with relatives period, unless an event in the future makes this hard to moderate.

Of course you can post, you don't need a sweeten to post here! As long as you aren't spamming and it stays on topic of sweetens.
