you check very nook and cranny, you start to lose hope, until you see a small glimmer amongst the trees and old logs.

okay got it,
yu stumble upon an old log, while looking for dewdrops you noticed that they have all dried up, you lose your hope until you stumble upon a small little mushroom, which had fallen of a log.
