Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you all well. As the species has grown, I've found I cannot keep up with the demands of the side threads (such as the Shop and Activities) as well as moderate the discord, program new features, and work as the sole artist for the species. Therefore, I am hiring a few moderators.
Moderators must be mature individuals who are meticulous and unbiased in delivering results of Activities and Shop posts, even if they are disappointing to the individuals involved. Moderators will be expected to be level-headed and respectful to everyone, both players and other staff. Moderators are expected to openly communicate with other staff members and the owner about any problems they may encounter with players or the species systems, and must join the discord in order to ensure that communication is always open and available. Moderators are expected to have experience with archival duties on google docs.
Moderators will be rewarded for every week that they remain an active moderator. They will be paid 150 AP per week that they are active. In order for a moderator to be counted as active, they must respond to and archive at least 3 Shop or Activities posts within the span of the week. Weekly reset is on Monday, 12:00 AM PST.
Becoming a moderator should not be taken lightly, nor should you become a moderator if you are simply interested in the rewards or the 'prestige' of being staff. It is my hope that the individuals I hire will be interested in helping keep the ARPG running and the archives up-to-date. Moderating can feel akin to a real part-time job. Do keep this in mind if you are planning to apply.
