After a little bit of discussion with the owner of the previous custom lined shelter pet adoptables I was a part of, Second Chance Shelter, I was given permission to allow transfers of existing pets from there to here! It is of course entirely optional to those that want to or those that don't! This only applies to anyone who actually owns a pet from SCS though. Things might be changed on the pet and it was agreed that permission from the original artist is required.

If you own a pet from SCS you can transfer them into SFA to participate in events, the nursery, and challenges! Its entirely optional and you'll need permission of the previous artist to do so. You can of course also choose to re-adopt a pet out instead, but remember that when you ask for this you cannot just 'keep them' again. I will, for the most part, be drawing the pets myself but the original artists have the option to request they transfer them themselves if they want. SCS pets transferred to SFA will be archived differently from SFA adopts but function as SFA pets.

All rules below are how the transfer thread works as well as items and what may or may not apply. This applies for Staff members and Community members! They will not result in a ban however you may be publicly corrected if the form is done incorrectly. SFA rules and CS rules still apply- see main page rules here.

TRANSFER THREAD GUIDE-

❥ Transfers are only from Second Chance Shelter to Shelter For Angels- cannot be done in reverse or any other adopts to SFA.
❥ The first 3 transfers of pets (outside of re-adopts) from SCS to SFA are entirely free. Due to such we suggest you choose the pet/s that would be the most expensive to transfer to transfer first, just so you don't have to wait as long with other transfers.
❥ You may only submit one transfer at a time. This is to prevent overworking/burnout of myself or any other artists doing transfers.
❥ Do not attempt to apply for a transfer artist position. I will be handling the majority of these myself.
❥ Once you have a posted transfer you may post again.
❥ Please do not pester myself or other artists to finish a transfer.
❥ Pay attention to the Open/Closed sign on the post with the form! When closed all requested forms will be invalid until re-posted when open again.

TRANSFERRING GUIDE-

❥ Use the correct corresponding form for your transfer.
❥ Once you have used your 3 free transfers you will have to purchase more transferring items and any corresponding items that allow other special parts of the design to transfer certain pets. You can find the items needed in the SFA Token Shop.
❥ Collars and Harnesses are the only items that will be transferred. Anything else must have a purchased item, even if transfer is considered free.
❥ When transferring you are allowed to request certain things. See the forms to know what you could request.
❥ You do not have control of the phenotype and cannot make changes to recessives. Pets with phenotypes in SCS will be translated/corrected into the SFA system and any without will be given phenotypes.

PERMISSIONS GUIDE-

❥ To have a valid form you need a screenshot of the original artist permitting the transfer of the pet you're requesting.
❥ If a previous SCS artist has been inactive for an extended period of time, has no pms open, or does not respond to a permission request for an extended period of time please message me to see if anything can be done.
❥ Auto permissions/denials from SCS staff members-

RE-ADOPT GUIDE-

❥ If requesting a design you own to be transferred specifically as a re-adopt, it will be considered free and will not require any items.
❥ When transferring it using a form, you are not able to request items or certain aspects be changed or kept.
❥ Staff will host the re-adopt unless the original artist of the pet wishes to instead.
❥ You can participate in the re-adopt however there is no guarantee you will win them.
❥ Once adopted they will act as a regular SFA pet.

ONCE TRANSFERRED-

❥ All SFA rules apply and the pet will function as a normal SFA pet.
❥ Any further changes must be applied through whatever the normal means are for SFA pets (items, challenges, archive forms, ect.)
❥ There will be a link to the original page as well as link to the original artist for credit of the design.
❥ Coat descriptions will be checked to make sure they are accurate, changed if inaccurate, and phenotypes will be changed to be under the same system as SFA.
❥ It will be posted on the original page that the adopt was transferred to SFA, with the date and otherwise.

Tiers For Different Transfers

These can be bought in the SFA Token Shop.

Copper Transfer-
Anything found in the 'Standard Mutations'. Scars are permittable but missing limbs/eyes are not. 10% or less wild blood of any kind.
Silver Transfer-
Anything found in the 'Common Mutations' and 'Standard Mutations'. Scars, and blindness are permitted, missing limbs are not. Up to 25 % wildblood of any kind.
Gold Transfer-
Anything found in the 'Uncommon Mutations', 'Common Mutations', and 'Standard Mutations'. Scars, blindness, and missing limbs are permitted. Up to 50% wild blood of any kind.
