Information
Braishin [bray-shin] Heavy Drafts hail from a land of rugged peaks and everlasting cold, where the bitter chill and jutting rocks
create a landscape difficult to traverse. But these hefty drafts were built to navigate even the narrowest of mountain passageways.
Descendants of the well-known Heavy Drafts of Russia, including the Russian and Soviet variants, Braishin Drafts are a formidable
breed. They have a strong torso, short and wide neck, sturdy legs, and broad rounded hooves, tufted with fur. Their hair, thick and
coarse, grows in loose waves and curls. Stallions range in height up to 16.2 hh, while mares typically do not reach above 15.3 hh.
Capable of being used for a variety of tasks, Braishin Heavy Drafts are a working breed. They’re versatile and up to whatever task
they’re needed for, whether it be for show or working out in the field.
