Axe-olotls are creatures from the underworld that are closely related to axolotls. They come in many forms and varieties, they work to ensure that the souls of the underworld do not escape however some have become sympathetic towards the souls. Some specialist in the supernatural field hypothesis the axe-lotls may have been trapped souls prior to becoming what they are now.
