The things Ocean likes doing on the beach is looking for seashells. She loves to find different color seashells, especially pretty white ones. She likes to create necklaces out of seashells with holes in it and give them to others on the beach. She likes to find seashells that sound like the ocean and likes to find shells that have creatures in them. She loves to give them to others and collect them for her collection. She also likes to see all the fish in the ocean and she likes the smell of the salty air.

Out of all the many things one can do at the beach--sailing, swimming, surfing, or just lying in the warm sun--Morgan's favorite activity is tide-pooling! They love making their careful way from pool to pool, careful not to step on any residents of the shoreline, to see who is waiting out low tide. Their favorite tide pools are the ones where small rock fish live, as during the low tide, the fish must contend with the sudden influx of more neighbors; they are of the opinion that there is no greater drama than that between goby and rock crab over a particular niche in the pool wall.
