Welcome to the Goldfish Bowl!
This is a closed community, which means you CAN make your own goldfish but it cannot use our goldfish line art or participate in the community!
The Goldfish Bowl is here to support people and their love of goldfish and to also promote proper goldfish care!

Here at the Goldfish Bowl, you can adopt as many goldfish as you'd like as we have no adopt limit, however, artists are allowed to 'sell' adopts for cs currency so not all of the adopts will be free adopts!

The goldfish bowl has 5 different goldfish species - Fantail, Oranda, Ranchu, Ryukin, and Comet!

* As Usual, follow all CS rules
* No bribing or begging staff for any reason, treat them with respect
* Goldfish can be sold and traded, but I must be notified about the sale/trade and transfer of ownership
* If a goldfish's ownership is changed without the original owner notifying me, they will NOT be able to breed or participate in the community!
* Goldfish cannot be forcefully reclaimed
* rudeness will NOT be tolerated

Oranda Goldfish

Oranda Goldfish are known for the bubble-like growth that appears on their heads, these goldfish usually grow to be about 10in long.
In some cases, these goldfish can go blind due to the bubble growth on their heads.
They require a minimum of 20 gallons for a single oranda!

Fantail Goldfish

The fantail goldfish is known for being a simple but fancy goldfish, and they are one of the more common goldfish you can find.
These goldfish get about 8in long and require a 20-gallon tank for a single goldfish!

Ranchu Goldfish

The Ranchu goldfish is quite popular in Japan often referred to as the king of goldfish, with a bubble-like growth on their heads and no dorsal fin this certainly is a unique goldfish.
Ranchu goldfish usually get to about 8in long and need 20 gallons for a single Ranchu!

Ryukin Goldfish

The Ryukin goldfish is a large chunky goldfish known for the large hump on its back!
They can grow to be about 10in long and they require a 20-gallon tank for a single Ryukin!

Comet Goldfish

The Comet Goldfish is well known for being found as a pet at a fair or as a feeder fish, this leads to people assuming they are small and easy to care for!
In reality, though, Comet goldfish can grow up to a foot long and sometimes larger! A single Comet goldfish requires 50 gallons of water!

Fish flakes are a tasty snack that allows your fish to spawn and have some fry in the Fry Bowl!

Collecting these tickets will allow you to turn them in for custom goldfish!
1 custom costs 3 tickets
Tickets can be obtained through events and as runner up adopt prizes which will be given out by artists as they see fit!
