Draco waited patiently by a tree waiting for Chiron's return with the Lieutenant Laika. He hummed quietly unsure of what to do.

Niji "Ji-Ji" Sakura Budōnoki • 17 • (he/they) • Homosexual • Dionysus • Location: Apollo Cabin• Tags: Open!, Random NPC

Niji frowned as he watched his friend's retreating form. He hoped he found his dog. His frown deepend when he realized he was stuck with the donut.
He glanced at the donut and a random camper walking past. They stopped the camper, who glanced at his hair. "Happy birthday have a donut." Niji said tiredly shoving the donut at the camper.
The camper took it and walked to a gr and up of people who immediately started whispering.

'Great.' He thought.
Niji glanced inside the Apollo cabin; it was plum full of campers and Niji definitely needed medical attention, so he walked into the cabin and curled up in a corner falling asleep almost as soon as he sat down.

Will get Sa'd's up in a moment

Sa'd "Lucky Charm" Salam•17•trans male (ftm)•Bi•Host of Set•Location: Entering camp/going to campfire•Tags:Dionysus(NPC),open!

Sa'd hummed quietly as they tried to get past the barrier for the umpteenth time and failing again.

"Are you kidding?" Sa'd yelled. "This was supposed to be foolproof! Dang it Felix!" Sa'd cursed and took their hair out of its hairtie prison.

"I could help you, you know." Set said in his oily voice that oozed charisma and mischief.
"Absolutely not." Sa'd growled.
"But all the other Chaos Gods get to do it!" Set whined.
"Never use my mouth to say those words again!" Sa'd yelled the shadow of their animal form waving and blowing in the slight wind as if it were smoke.

"But, but... love." Set whined quietly.

"I said no you whiny, annoying baby!" Sa'd yelled.
They yelled so loudly that Dionysus, who was passing Sa'd to talk to a Nymph, stopped and looked at them. Dionysus rolled his eyes and allowed Sa'd to pass through the barrier.

Sa'd, who had been pressing their shoulder up against the barrier fell through and looked up at Dionysus.
"T-thanks." Sa'd mumbled. "Don't tell anyone I said that."

"Yeah-yeah whatever kid. I like you, you little Chaos. Best not get around the Ares campers." Dionysus warned.
"Oh can we please get around the Ares campers please love?" Set asked excitedly.
Sa'd closed their eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly let it out.
"Do not call me that. Do not use my mouth to say those words ever again or I will get an exorcism." Sa'd threatened.

Sa'd walked away and headed to the campfire in the distance. By the time Sa'd had gotten to the campfire Set and Sa'd had gotten into another argument.

"Come on just let me out to play." Set said trying to convince Sa'd.

"No! No! A thousand times no! 'iinaa salam! That is what my name means that is what I stand for!" Sa'd yelled. With every word passing Sa'd's lips his animal form grew more solid. Sa'd sighed and sat down on a log by the campfire glaring at it. The black flames grew bigger and now changed to have red flames showing its face every so often.

"Why me?" Sa'd asked Set, but for once Set was silent.

"thor?" he repeated a tad incredulously. "oh, that's brutal. shot in the heart. i look nothing like chris hemsworth. i'm - i'm much better looking." he pulled a bit of a face after he said it, aware that he did not truly believe what he was saying. "thorin." he repeated to himself, the 'th' becoming a 't' as a result of the accent that he had clung to. "guppy and thorin. that sounds like a really tripe superhero movie."

"well, that's good to know," he said with a short nod. there was a sense of anxiety coming from her. "yeah. but, you know. don't worry. i've never heard of anyone in the poseidon cabin ever hitting anyone. or at least, they've never had the gall to take it to a superior. you'll be fine." he recalled his first nervous days at the camp, though they seemed light years away. he supposed they were, in a sense. "i guess you will." for a moment, his face clouded, and then he smiled, waved her off. "have fun."

alone, he veered toward the buffet table, retrieving himself a couple of slices of buttered toast. he wasn't sure that he could stomach much else - the nausea from the night had quelled, yes, but he could still feel it bubbling underneath his sternum. was that nausea? felt like it. would have made sense.
his plate piled, he ended up on the zeus table, absent-mindedly chewing at his plain smorgasbord. with no-one to speak to, his face was notably slack, tired-looking, but there were too many thoughts buzzing through his head in absence of distraction that he couldn't fathom faking it for so long. it felt like an uphill battle. once again, his thoughts drifted to sisyphus. the night before. the iris message.

he'd have to check his phone soon. they'd be landing. the thought made him shut his eyes, a heat coming to his face that he hid with the convenient placement of his sleeve. orin was still tired. he counted four hours that he had actually been asleep. not pleasant in the slightest.

For most Chinese families, breakfast was a pretty big deal. Hu had no intention to make herself an exception, especially after such an exhausting last night. In front of her, taking up a large portion of the table, was an array of plates and bowls.

Hu had started with a large bowl of congee, and some youtiao, basically Chinese Fried Dough Sticks. Hu wasn't particularly bothered with eating seafood. It wasn't like Poseidon had fathered every single fish and prawn in the sea. Had he? Pushing the dizzying and disturbing thought out if her head, Hu happily munched and slurped away.

As she finished the bowl, some more campers started to file onto the dining pavilion. Hu waved back at Juliet, then snuck a remaining piece of shrimp to Ling. Next came a large bowl of wonton soup, which Hu finished rather quickly.

More and more campers were taking their seats at the dining pavilion. Laika was talking to a rather terrified satyr, a seemingly outdated woman was making her way to the Aphrodite table, and overall the camp seemed more or less back to a hesitant normal. Enough about the camp, Hu, back to the food already. she scolded herself, and indeed turned back to bowl of wontons, which was practically depleted. An order of panckaes whizzed past, and Hu reached up and snatched it out of the air. At camp, there were no rules to if you could steal someone else's food while it was mid-delivery. So Hu quite contently munched on her pancakes while Ling demolished an entire wedding cake.

She had a last bit of maple-syrup soaked pancake hanging out of her mouth when Hu spied a red haired girl make her way to the Poseidon table. Quickly chewing the last bit, Hu stood up and waved. "Pardon me, but are you Aaron Burr, sir?" she said, eyes gleaming. Then she let out a small laugh. "Don't worry, I'm not mentally unstable. Probably. We probably all are, to be fair. But that was merely a Hamilton reference. Anyways, I'm Wang Jiu Hu, but call me Hu. I'm a daughter of Poseidon, and if you are here for a purpose and not because you are lost, then I'm also officially your half-sister. And, this here is Ling. Say hi, Ling." She nodded at the silver kitsune, who had been gnawing on a heavily buttered baguette. Ling then let out a few choice words, though thankfully none were too innapropriate. Translating, Hu said "Ling says you're a son of- Ling says hi. Pardon my fox, she's rather.. colorful." she quickly blurted, changing the subject."Anyways, I assume you have a bunch of questions. But take a seat and, well, eat. Just think of anything you want for breakfast. Pancakes? Muffins? A wedding cake? Deep-fried water? Carbon monoxide? Camp's got it all."

"Careful, wouldn't want to stab your throat with that fork there," Laika laughed. Then Chuck mentioned Celeste. Laika pondered how much to tell him. "One of my associates." she said plainly. "Also from the second world war era, daughter of Aphrodite. Her name's Celeste." That was all Laika would reveal at the moment. "So, I've already given my introduction, and I'm sure you heard it. Who are you, satyr?" The Hunter's eyes glittered.

caspia watched as orin headed in, feeling a bit reassured at his words. heading in after him she looked over to the posideon table, spotting a girl sitting with a fox? another thing to add to the list of strange things she's seen today. she looked back over to orin, feeling bad for him just sitting alone but she didn't want to break any rules especially since she didn't know the table rules that well. swallowing her nerves she moved to sit at the table, taken aback as she was bombarded with words from the seemingly ravenous girl.

"uhh, I'm caspia, it's nice to meet you." she answered, thinking about the whole half-sister thing. she had always wanted siblings, and this girl was rather intriguing. "well I guess we are half-sisters then, I guess our dad really does get around." she joked lightly, wondering if she had other siblings floating around. thinking about what she was particularly hungry for, "a muffin sounds quite nice actually, how do we get food?" she asked, feeling a bit dumb for asking.

Agatha "Aggy" Clemson | 15 | She/her | Unknown (Ares)/Cabin 11| Location: Cabin 11--> Dining Pavilion | tags: Cass, Juliet | mentions:

Aggy had just run through the motions this morning: waking up, showering, and shoving on new clothes. Luckily, no one had dared to touch her cutlass overnight, though that was more likely due to the events of the prior night rather than any reputation she had carved. Once she had dressed in sweatpants and an orange camp t-shirt (it had appeared on her suitcase overnight, and Aggy wasn't one for refusing a free shirt), Aggy set about making her bed. It didn't matter here, what with enough people jammed into the cabin that there was no way it would go untouched over the day.

Still, she set about making it, pulling the blankets off and replacing them neatly, tucking in the ends just as her mother had taught her. 'If you need me, Agatha dear, I'll be just a call away, you hear? Don't let them tell you you can't called, I've cleared it with Mr. Chiron, you hear me? Any problem, I'll be right there!' Her mom had told her as they were leaving her apartment. She sighed deeply. This would be her first time at a real 'sleep-away' camp, and she couldn't say it was going as planned. She blinked quickly, then set about fluffing her pillows for something to do. She lifted them, intent on setting them neatly in the center of her headboard, but a scrap of fabric caught her eye and slowed her hands. She frowned, setting the pillows aside and reaching out to touch it. A...friendship bracelet? Is Jewelweed playing tricks on me? She wondered, glancing furtively around to spot the sneaky blonde, but her search was in vain.

Hmm, I wonder? She mused, her pillows long forgotten. She picked up her scabbard and set it on her hip, pulling Flora out for inspection. She ran a hand over the beat up handle, then grabbed the green and gold bracelet and worked it into it, as a sort of cushioning. When her task was done, she held the cutlass out and gave it a couple thrusts, testing the feel. The result made her smile. Perfect! she thought, returning the blade to it's home.

She then scrambled after the others to the dining pavilion, aware that she was a touch late. When she arrived, she migrated toward the pancakes, made herself a small fortress of them, slathered the whole thing in syrup and shoved her way into an open spot near Juliet and the dark-haired girl thar

Jack "Reese" Dawson | 17 | Hades/Cabin 13 | Location: Dining Pavilion | tags: Open! | mentions: Aphrodite cabin

Reese was up when the world was still grey, as usual. He sighed and set about dressing, not eager to be there when his more death sensitive siblings awakened. It wasn't that he couldn't deal with emotions, it was just that he was too awkward, too stiff for what the others needed. Eighteen campers had indeed died, but it wasn't like they were going to live forever in other circumstances.

He pulled on a heather green polo and khakis, flipping the collar out and tucking in his shirt. He ran a hand around his neck to make sure that it was all down, then pulled a belt off his dresser. He slid his feet into his grey vans. He pulled his shearling coat out of his wardrobe, glad that he hadn't put it in into deep storage after the spring snows had cleared, and set out.

He roamed for a while, taking in the creeping golden hues of sunrise over the snow. Even like this, camp still manages to be beautiful. He thought, eyeing the remains of the Big House, before doubling back to the dining pavilion and enjoying the silence. He grabbed himself a plate of biscuits and gravy, and ate them slowly. He returned his plate, then closed his eyes for a bit, listening to the first waves of chaos coming in the form of what had to be the entire Aphrodite cabin.

Henry "Hank" Walker | 17 | He/him | Apollo/Cabin 7 Head Counselor | Location: outside Cabin 7--> toward lake | tags: Izzy | mentions:

With the extra bodies in the Apollo cabin, Hank had been awoken several times throughout the night, between helping injured campers to the bathrooms and fetching water as requested. It hadn't been a smooth night. When he was called from his bed for the umpteenth time (to inform a moaning camper that 'no, you're not dead, just getting some well needed rest at the ol'Apollo cabin'), it was 6 am, and he gave up trying to sleep. He strapped his bow to his back, clipped a leash on one unenthusiatic Izzy, and set out.

He pulled a face at the cold air that greeted him. He'd been expecting it, but that didn't make the feeling any more pleasant. He sighed and set out, his breathe making clouds of condensation on the crisp air. They made their regular lap around the lake, slowed down by the snow, and were back at 7:30, despite his efforts be return sooner. He really wasn't the best option for this head counselor position, but that was a problem for another time.

He let Izzy loose at the door, and she took off for the dining pavilion, knowing well what was coming. He walked in, no longer trying for quiet, and stepped forward to tap on the gong, albeit quite a softer than usual. "Attention campers, it's officially day two! Time to head up to the dining pavilion for some grub! If you can't attend breakfast, please let one of the Apollo cabin members know so we can bring some to you. If have any quest information, please stick around for the meeting after. " He announced loudly, which earned him some sour looks from both the injured, and his own cabinmates. Oh well. He set about getting changed, and soon enough he was heading a small line to the Apollo table, with Izzy neatly awaiting him by their spot.

Hu laughed at Caspia's question. "You know, that was the very first question I had asked when I arrived at camp. You see, Camp Half Blood has a whole bunch of magical things. So obviously the food system would be one of the most revolutionary parts of this place. Just wait a bit, or say it out loud, the dryads will choose something for you. But a muffin, you say?" Hu raised her voice and called to the nearest dryad. "Good morning Ms. Schuyler! My buddy here would like a giant muffin, please. Giant." The dryad turned to the two. "What type of muffin, dear?" she asked Caspia, though she seemed a bit miffed at being called Ms. Schuyler.

she pulled her coin from her pocket, flicking it once again between her fingers 'camp half blood' what a strange name to fit in with all of its abnormalities. listening to hu as she spoke, it was nice to be around a rather energetic person. looking over as the dryad headed over she was a bit bewildered by the creature, shaking it off to not be rude "oh, poppyseed? or any kind of muffins you have, I don't mind." she answered, not wanting to send the dryad on a long task. looking at hu with a smile, she was already growing to like the strange girl.

Seeing Mirabelle was speaking with a new face, Lucy feigned a gasp of surprise, a distraught hand over her heart. "Such an accusation!" She gasped, her eyes almost sparkling with tears. "What if all I wanted was to say hello to a friend?" The daughter of Apollo pouted, folding her arms. "I was late to camp yesterday, and I didn't get to say hello to anyone, least of all you." Lucy sniffed. Her eyes wandered downwards to Mira's bags. "You're going to stop Khione then?" Her tone shifted from indignant to concerned, a flash of worry crossing her face. It was difficult to tell whether it was real or not. Truly, Lucy just wanted to make a good impression on the first new face she'd seen at camp. To add to her act, Lucy pulled Mirabelle into a tight hug, though her stomach churned at the notion. "When are you leaving? Are you coming back? Who's going with you?" the brunette was bubbling with questions, each one spat forth swallowing the one before it without an answer. "It's got to be dreadfully dangerous with all this snow, I hope you packed something warm. Oh!" She slipped off her own coat and folded it over her arm, presenting it to Mirabelle. Underneath the worn fur coat, Lucy wore a vibrant red and white bell-shaped dress, covered with an unnecessary amount of frills and ribbons. A pair of brown winter boots peeked out from underneath the dress's hem. "If you're going to be going out there, you probably need this more than I do." She offered both girls a genuine smile.

Nicholas chuckled at Vivienne's initial response; it seemed he could always catch her off guard in one way or another. "I was, but you're right." He agreed, dismissing the event quickly as he placed the guitar on an adjacent stand and stood, brushing off his clothes. "I'm here a little early, I do apologize for that." The horseman caught sense of her discomfort, quickly deducing the spirits were its cause. With a wave of his hand, they faded. "And for that as well. They have a tendency to follow me around, and sometimes if I'm not thinking about it they'll start appearing to people. They're still here just not," he made a gesture with his hands. "Visible." He brushed past Vivienne, having collected his cane as he stepped into the hall. "As for why I'm here so early, there's been a change of plans. I need to speak with Khione." He pointed a look to the demigod. "As soon as possible. It's urgent. I didn't want to send myself on a wild goose chase─Xaliphax bores of such things─so I came here in hopes you either knew where to find her or knew when she would return." He pivoted on his heel and extended his arm to add flair to his next statement. "But! None of this excuses my rather rude and unannounced entry into your home, so I do hope I can make it up to you in the future─" His sentence was cut off by a cough, his hand flying over his mouth. He grimaced, pulling it away once the coughing ceased. Blood. "That's not good," he murmured, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket. He addressed Vivienne again without looking up from his task, though he didn't explicitly try to hide his injury. Rather, brush it off as more of an inconvenience. "Speaking of Xaliphax, I'll need a place to stable him while he's here. The cold is of no concern, but he'll have a fit if it's any place wet."

"Your giant muffin is on its way. Let's get to know more about each other then. I'm from the fishing city of Qingdao, China. And yes, I eat seafood. To be clear, that is not family cannabilsm. I think. I assume Poseidon hasn't been that busy fathering fish and shrimp and whatnot. Anyways, I came to camp around three years ago, right after I was claimed. Turns out I've been blessed by a fox spirit, a hulijing, and now I'm supposed to be super smart and sky and have freckles. At least I've checked two thirds of my list? This here is Ling, a kitsune with a rather dirty mouth. I assume you can't see the extra eight tales, right? For some reason barely anyone can. Maybe there's another mist that seperates Chinese and Greek mythology.

With that said, tell me about yourself! Then I'll be able to seem really smart by explaining all the weird things that has happened to you. But I am already really smart, mind you."

Cassandra Peters|19|Hermes/Cabin|11|Head Counselor|Loc:Dining Pavilion|Tags/Mentions:Juliet,Aggy,open
Cass took a big gulp of her coffee enjoying the bitter liquid before taking a bite of her eggs. she turned her head at the sound of her name being called "Mornin Kiddo" Cass replied before taking another sip of her coffee listening to her half-sister bombard her with questions. "Doing fine" Cass replied in a calm tone with a shrug "And no I don't" she answered with a raised eyebrow "Why do you want to know? Are you interested in going?" Cass asked Juliet. Although she was glad her sister might be taking an interest in helping more people Cass was concerned at the prospect of Jules getting in harm's way. Her train of thought was broken when she saw a red-haired girl making her way next to Juliet "Hey your Aggy right" Cass asked the girl with a bright smile or as bright as she could manage in the morning, hoping to be as welcoming as possible to make up for the less than stellar first day she had. "I'm Cass I don't think that we've been formally introduced"She spoke in a pleasant tone "I'm the head counselor at the Hermes cabin so welcome" Cass said lopsided grin.
